Whole Foods Market never was my favorite grocery store, but I liked this one: clean, nicely organized, and a nice selection of groceries. They also have some eating room where I could consume food purchased at the store.

This review has been a long time coming. I shop at Whole Foods in Long Beach typically but was driving up to Paso Robles for a few days and needed to cook dinner for everyone one night. I didn’t want to take the meat from Long Beach but wanted the Whole Food quality. I called this WF and the manager, Miguel, was FANTASTIC. He went above and beyond to make sure the short ribs I needed would be available a week later for when I was driving through SLO. Erin in the meat department kept me updated that week about the order and when the meat did get there from the supplier and they didn’t bring the specific ribs I wanted, she was quick to try to find me a solution. The store itself is clean, has a wide variety of cheeses and such that aren’t available in Long Beach. Very impressed and wish I lived closer so I could shop here!

Visited to return an Amazon purchase, which was very fast & easy. Decided to browse with kiddo & found some unique cookies we had to try. I really wanted an energy drink, but I couldn't find very many, and none of them met my criteria. Service was good, prices were a bit high.

The third photo with no rainbow connection is NOT a tofu scramble. Come on WF, been to other locations and at times done correctly. Thought one standard recipe was nationwide. Where is the tumeric or how about the kala namak? The bright yellows with colors is how it need to be, if only for presentation purposes.

Over priced for being a national market, cashiers helpful. Lady in vitamin section asked if I needed help. But was not helpful & in a hurry. The products were not the quality of what i had in my hand & wanting to replace. GNC stores 1/2 the price for double the strength of many items for the big company they are all over the united states. Prices could be much better

What a nice store with helpful, friendly staff. Stopped in here to get a sandwich and a few other items. Watched the deli counter worker patiently slice cold cuts to a customer’s specifications for the Italian subs he planned to make at home. I’m not familiar with the store and was wondering around, looking for a product. A helpful employee on his way home saw me, stopped, and asked if I needed help. He was able to guide me to the product in a matter of seconds. His shift was over and he could have been on his way, so appreciate him helping me. Check out lady and bagger were very friendly too. Look forward to stopping by here again next time I’m SLO.

A dear old friend gave me a $50 Whole Foods gift card for my birthday on March 18 (the same day as our only non-consecutive two term President, Grover Cleveland. Let's hope that doesn't happen again anytime soon!). I hadn't been in a while but knew that they had good quality organics.

The visit went about as expected. Lots of selection. They have this ? Whole Foods brand called "365". So those products are only moderately high priced instead of sky high. Which brings me to prices. If their prices were more in line with other stores they'd get 5 ⭐. But you can expect to pay 20-25% more at Whole Foods for virtual everything. They do have sales on some items and if you're an Amazon Prime member you'll get an extra 10% off. And if you have an Amazon/Whole Foods ? card you'll earn 5% cash back on your purchase.

So on the day I went I thought I'd "splurge" since I had an extra $50 to spend. Still ended up spending almost $130❕So basically if you're on any sort of budget I'd avoid. I will say the service and friendliness of staff have always been top notch!
