Worst pharmacy experience ever. Amber, the staff member I dealt with, acted like she knew what she was doing but clearly didn’t. I ordered a controlled substance, and despite confirming the patient's name, date of birth, and address, they still dispensed it to the wrong person. When I tried to address the issue, clinical technician Amy just covered for her coworker, calling it a mistake but taking no accountability or steps to resolve it. The pharmacy techs here lack basic common sense. Do yourself a favor and avoid wasting your time at this place

Apparently, no one likes to answer the phone calls. I had to call with 2 phones but still no answer, One answered but told me to hold, and I did 25 mn, but they wouldn't answer very, very bad.

I'm really upset because someone in the pharmacy just got tired of making chemo on Monday, we got here as instructed by 3 p.m and we've been here much later in the evening and still had chemo done, however on the 10th of June that was not the case! Apparently we now have to stay an extra day when we really can't afford it all because someone in the pharmacy just got tired of making chemo that day. Shouldn't they have a back up plan in case this happens? I mean, youre making life saving medicine for kids and there is no 24 hour services for this? Or more people for back up in case someone gets sick or has an emergency? I'm seriously disappointed and pissed off.

I didn’t really have any negative experiences with this Walgreens until recently.
Their phone system is straight GARBAGE. All Walgreens phone systems suck, but this one is the worst. So far in ten minutes I’m on my ninth call trying to get through because lately it sends you straight to voicemail. I’m sure by the time I’m done writing this I’ll have had to call at least five more times.
A couple months ago I had a prescription refilled for my daughter that I can only get at this Walgreens because it has to be made and shipped to us. We live an hour away. I always get a text when the prescription is filled and about to be shipped. I didn’t get a text that day. So I call, and I’m told that one of the techs forgot to set up shipping for the prescription. I had to race to the pharmacy from an hour away to get there before they closed.
Now today I noticed I didn’t get a text again for the same medication refill. I look on the app, and someone cancelled it.
These are medications necessary for my daughter to LIVE!!!! I’m getting so beyond frustrated with this place!!!
Someone needs to fix the phone system and the service!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are always super helpful in getting my son’s medication filled in a timely matter and will often go out of their way to meet our additional needs. They are very busy but the staff is still always friendly and willing to help.

Worse pharmacy ever. Please avoid & go elsewhere. My son was getting discharged after surgery & told meds will be ready for pick up in 1 hr. After 1 hr, we were told by the pharmacy that it'll be another hr. After another hour, we were told it'll be an additional 20 more minutes. We have been at Valley Children's since 8:30am & my son has been fasting since midnight for surgery. He was hungry & in pain & still recovering. Cold & miserable in the car while waiting for his pain meds. This pharmacy is the worst & gives Valley Children's a bad reputation!

Update: September 2, 2021: still no one picks up phone calls....... are they even still open? Like seriously at this point......

They don't pick up phone calls. Goes to voice mail. I leave voice mail and nothing. Literally have to get in touch with them by going through children's hospital and having someone there transfer

In and out twice. Told it would be ready shortly. My son is waiting out in the car post SURGERY, 5 min to closing, and the person working on the "waiter" me is back there laughing and joking while I'm waiting for my sons pain medication, instead of just getting it done. I am the only customer in here. I am very frustrated and angry. They are more worried about putting stuff away to go home than just finishing my sons prescription.
