I normally try to have a female doctor due to my mental disorders and PTSD, which was caused by the domestic violence I experienced from my father as a child, so sometimes it's not easy for me to explain my womanly issues with a male doctor. And especially since I had to change from my primary doctor that I had been going to for over 30 years. But that is not the case with Dr. Ramos, he makes me feel at ease and truly listens. I was leary about the change at first because others told me some bad things about this office, but I like to experience and decide for myself. I'm glad I did, this was my 3rd appointment with him, and each time has given me the same experience of not only am I being medically helped but being truly heard. The whole staff from the moment you sign in until you leave give me a sense of being welcomed and cared for. Thank you Unified Care 💖

This was the closest place that I found online that gives Covid vaccines to babies 6 months old. There is plenty of space in the parking lot. The staff is really friendly and did a great job.

The wait times can be long, and twice I got a text reminder to check in with a time 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. When I called in to confirm, I was placed on hold due to a high number of callers. But when I got through, they said I could come in any time during the 30 minute window, so that was nice.

Outstanding medical Care and advice. Mr Ramos who has been taking care of me. The care I'm receiving is just amazing. I'm 57 years old but I feel like I'm a young kid due to the professional care and health advise from the doctors here. Johanna, Iris and staff are also very professional and caring. They always try to help and arrange appointments to make it convenient for me. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs health services. Thank you unified Care medical group for taking care of all my health needs

We won't be returning to this clinic. My recent experiences with Kelly, the office manager, were so unpleasant and unprofessional that I'll also be filing official complaints.

We had immigration physicals there in February. The physicals were almost 600 each and we paid cash... emphasizing that we pay all our bills. I was so impressed with Mr Ramos and Joanna that this clinic became our primary care.

In April, my insurance didn't cover a test done during a previous regular appointment. They said to ask the doctor to change the diagnosis code. I called and Kelly insisted that I come into the office in person to discuss it. I thought it was unusual but went in on May 26.

Kelly told me that I had two outstanding co-pays of 75 each from two visits in March, and demanded full payment before she would deal with the insurance issue. She showed me two printouts from their insurance portal - there was no invoice.

Her words and attitude were rude, offensive and unprofessional. I felt ambushed, and told her that I didn't appreciate her rudeness and the way she was dealing with the issue, and they should have told me sooner.

I offered to pay one then and one my next visit. She said no, she needed full payment. She insisted that I pay...she said they take cash, credit or debit cards. I refused to pay and left. I had the money, and appreciate honesty, but this was extreme.

This was the first time I was told about outstanding payments. I'd been in the office several times, and they have all my contact details since February.

Three weeks later, on June 14, I went for my previously scheduled appointment with Mr Ramos. At the front desk, Joanna said that Kelly instructed that I couldn't proceed untiI I paid the bill in full.

I asked for a billing statement, and to see Mr Ramos. After waiting for 40 minutes, I asked for the name of the clinic's owner...Joanna said to talk with Mr Ramos.

Joanna was on the phone with Kelly...apparently she was preparing the statement then. I left... told her to mail it and that I'll pay as soon as I get it.

Does this clinic bill patients routinely? Or maybe they made an exception for me. I don't feel my experience was the norm for patient treatment.

Today is July 1, and I haven't received said statement. We called a few days ago asking for it - they said they didn't have our apartment number. Strange...they collected all my contact details at the first visit.....

UPDATE: I received the statement on July 7 (dated July 2), paid on July 9.

Kelly...no, I won't call. It wasn't a miscommunication.

This place is not welcoming for new patients. I called to book an appointment and mentioned that I have cold and soar throat. They asked me to get a Covid test before the appointment which I did. On the day of the appointment, they declined treatment because I didn’t get a PCR test. If they know it already why didn’t they mention it when I booked an appointment. I clearly told them that I’m getting an in house test and they agreed to it but they changed their word on the day of the treatment. It’s better take business somewhere else.
