We had a very good experience today here, we only came for a few things we knew we wanted but had such a good time chatting with a lovely associate named Yaritza! She made us feel attended to and recognized. Thank you for the quick and easy shopping experience!

I had an appointment and when I showed up the stylist left but no one called. I live 45 minutes away so they gave me another stylist. I Just needed my same style shorter because it had grown out a bit I had photos and honestly, you could’ve just followed the lines that were already there. My hair is chopped, not at all the style too long on one side. bangs and this was not a style with bangs. I had to keep being left in the chair because the girl doing my hair also had to run the register. Make appointments and look for earrings for another person. It’s way too expensive especially with tip you’re looking at almost 100 bucks. I paid for a blow dry and I left there looking absolutely horrendous. We were supposed to do some Christmas shopping after and of course I had to go home 45 minutes because I couldn’t walk around looking like that it’s gonna take six months to a year to grow this out to try to get some style back in my hair and I don’t know what to do to fix it I’ll end up with some sort of pixie cut, and this was a medium length hairstyle that I was coming in for please stay away from here. This place is a total mess and chaos and unfortunately, you might end up with someone who doesn’t listen and is not trained enough to just trim an existing style with phones. Now I have to go pay somewhere else to try to fix all the unevenness and the fact that I have my hair way longer on one side than the other that was not the style at all by the way. I’m just so devastated. And mostly because I felt sorry for the girl and tipped her anyways and I shouldn’t have because that just encourages her to keep doing bad work, but it was Christmas time and I felt bad not tipping. As someone who’s been in the service industry. Total fail please beware stay away

Today I had my hair cut by Neveah. I do not hate the haircut and I think she really was trying to do a good job but in the end it does not resemble the inspiration picture at all. When she had finished my haircut and turned me around it was clear that one side was shorter and less blended. It almost looked like a shelf. I pointed it out to.her and she attempted to correct the problem by going in and texturizing the shorter side more, I was confused but not being the professional I was "trusting the process." The inspiration picture had little to no texturizing but we spoke about it and I was okay with her trxturizing my hair. It does look like she over texturized it to me and also I do not think that her scissors were sharp because I thought I could hear my hair breaking and when I run my fingers through it it feels a bit like split ends instead of a healthy new cut. Part way through the cut a girl and her baby came it. I believe it was either Neveah's friend or co worker. She came in to ger her hair toned or dyed I am not sure but after she came the stylist kinda checked out. This could have been due to scheduling. Long story short, it was not a cut that you would expect to pay $52 for and I would think that a multi million dollar company would either have someone there who can provide the skill professional skill or a someone supervising to see it their stylist are up to par. Unfortunately this one was not.

I called in saying I will be late because of an incident on the road but my appointment was given away even though I called in and was 5 minutes away. She tried giving me an appointment 3 hours later she already was working on 2 patients and seemed like she canceled on me on purpose if you can’t handle all of them don’t take them.

I have shop at Lodi Ulta for several years. The associates are very nice and helpful especially Callie. Today while I was there purchasing some make-up, I asked the cashier if I can make an appointment for a dry trim, i have long hair middle of my back and bangs to the side, the cashier asked me to follow her to the back to see if they had any available appointments today. I told them I wanted a dry trim due to I have slight curly hair. I informed them that I always get a dry hair trim. One of the stylist called a person from the back named Alondra. I informed Alondra I wanted a dry trim, i also informed Alondra I always request for a dry cut (Went in with clean dry hair). Alondra started cutting my bangs, she started spraying water on my bangs, I asked her not to wet my hair, because when it drys it will be shorter. Alondra stated she knows how to cut curly hair and this is the correct way, Alondra continue to trim my bangs and then she started cutting my hair on the side by my temple. I asked her to stop!! I requested to speak to a supervisor, I did not get the supervisor name, the Supervisor apologized for Alondra, because she can see how bad Alondra has cut my hair. Callie came over and tried to fix it. I started crying because, when I looked in the mirror I could not believe what Alondra did to my hair, Alondra cut my bangs straight across way above my eyebrows. I look like I have a square head and the side by my temple are short. I got up from the chair crying and grab my purse to leave. The store manager came up to me and stated she needs to write me a ticket!! I told her "you want me to pay for this"!! And I walked out. I never ever not pay for anything I request for, but this half hair trim was not worth paying a penny. I cried all the way home. Ulta should double check Alondra license to make sure it's her license or go back to school. I wish I can post a picture. You would of cried too!

Ulta Beauty is a great store! They have a wide range of products for hair and skin, including lower priced, as well as the higher end. The staff has always been very friendly and super helpful. 😊 Ulta Beauty, I feel so uplifted everytime I walk in! 🌄

I used to love this ulta but the employees last time I was there followed me around like if I going to steal! I felt harassed, they did not let me look around in peace. Ive been coming to this ulta for years and I have never had this happen.
