Very clean and relaxing! I took full advantage of the steam room, sauna, all three pools outside and the delicious fruit infused water. Briana was amazing and I would highly recommend the sage and arnica deep tissue massage with the bee balm foot mask as an add-on. I will be back!

I would have given 5 stars for my massage and the therapist. I took away a star for the staff at the spa. I went in an hour early to confirm my appointment time and see if I needed to know anything in advance and was sent away with no information other than a time to return for my services. When I came back I was given a tour which revealed a lovely sauna and steam room with an outdoor mineral spring pool. As my appointment went until after 5 I only had about 30 minutes to enjoy the amenities before getting ready for my dinner reservation. As I handed over almost $300 I explained to the receptionist that I didn't realize in advance what the spa had to offer and was hoping to return the next morning just to use the sauna before checking out. She told me I couldn't unless I purchased a service and the least expensive was almost $100. She wasn't friendly or understanding. She even mentioned my prior visit and said she'd thought I'd come to use the spa before my appointment and was surprised I had left, even though no one mentioned a tour or the amenities and simply told me when to return. Also this was a Sunday and the spa was practically empty both days so I really don't see how I would've bothered anyone. I get that this is their policy but I think given the circumstances it was rude to not even offer to ask management or consider an exception. Especially because I booked this hotel for my anniversary specifically to get a certain facial and they didn't have any aestheticians working either day I stayed. Services I did get were great, amenities too, customer service left a lot to be desired.

After various visits to Santa Barbara County's only casino, Chumash Casino, I was ready to explore more of the resort's features. For my sister's surprise 40th birthday, I figured this would be the perfect escape to discover zen. While I love the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa and Ritz Carlton Bacara, the Chumash was almost half the cost. Upon booking a spa service (nails, massage, etc), you are able to utilize the spa area during their hours of 10 am - 6 pm--similar to an all day pass.

The spa appears to have been recently updated with some pleasant features. Each female and male locker rooms have showers, steam room and sauna. There are all the toiletry necessities of shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, mouthwash, Q-tips, and combs. There's also secure combination lockers, soft robes, flip-flops, swimsuit dryer, and bottled water free for use. The facilities are very clean and modern. You have access to the hotel pool and bar, even if you aren't staying as a guest. You simply have to request a room key for the elevator. The spa has its own separate outdoor pool, hot tub and sold plunge which are all lovely and clean.

A few things I would have liked to have seen as constructive feedback:
- The wet towelettes would be better with some menthol or essential oils. Also sunscreen and aloe would also be a nice touch.
- On a busy weekend, there are only an odd number of five recliners, three umbrellas for shade, and eight individual chairs around two tables. More is really necessary.
- Having no food or beverage service is a major downfall. You are allowed to bring your own wine or champagne for a corkage fee of $20. Other resort spas I've been to have hot tea or coffee, trail mix, granola bars, fruit or other snacks complimentary.

My partner and I had a couple's massage, while my sisters had their own individual massages in private rooms. Everyone enjoyed their massage therapists (shout out to Mila and Lucky). One downfall for the couples massage is the room features a large copper tub, so that's why I reserved it. Sadly, you don't have any time allotted to use it before or after the massages.

All in all, we would return given the amenities, cleanliness and price point.

My friend and I had a great time at this spa. They have a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and two pools (one with cold water, one with regular temperature water). The jacuzzi and pools are outside. They have a relaxing area with lounge chairs outside and inside. The facilities are very clean. Water, towels, slippers, bathrobes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion are provided. You just need to bring yourself, nothing else is needed. I had the signature massage and my friend had the CBD one. Both were relaxing and effective at easing my lower back pain and my friends knee pain. We'll be back soon!

Well I have been going to the chumash for years and always had a great experience with both entertainment and staff. I did go a few months ago with a horrible staff experience but this last visit was much better and as before. I just think before I give my 5 star they should be able to follow through 2 times in a row.

I love going here. It's so easy to make an appointment. Their facilities are nice. They're all so helpful and friendly. If you have an appointment the day of your services you have all day access to their facilities which is super cool

Located in the hotel at the chumash casino property, the spa is a Tranquil retreat. My mother and I went for pedicures, the two ladies helping us, Yasiri and nikki were amazing and so nice! The whole place is so calming, definently will be back!
