horrible attitude from the employees every time I come in here. I asked for a color match for a foundation. I knew around what color I liked for my skin, so i asked her what color looked better and she said that they were way too light and to not “sell myself short”. she picked out a tanner color for me and again said not to sell myself short, whatever that means. Super rude and flat. As if it’s “bad” to be fair skinned. None of the employees here wear makeup either, so it’s hard to trust anyone that works here. Do they even know what they are talking about? I don’t think so.

The employees are pretty nice and they usually have everything I am looking for. It is small by Sephora standards but still has a good amount of stuff

Such a great experience with Arlene! I went in on a Friday afternoon…I was looking for a new foundation and perfume. I walked in and Arlene was at the front door to welcome me and I asked her for help! We spend the next 30 minutes together and it was so much fun! She showed me products that were exactly what I wanted... including new fragrances! I bought everything Arlene recommended and love it all! Thank you!

This review is based on my daughter's experience at this particular store. The location of the store is good but the people that work there not so much. My daughter has experienced the same bad or lack of customer service at this Los Gatos store location every time she has shopped there which has been about 10 times in the past 6 months. The reason why my daughter shops at this location is that we live in Los Gatos and she has yet to drive so this particular location is just close to our home. However, today my daughter and her friend were shopping at this store and while paying for their purchases asked the sales associate if there were any free samples that they could have. The sales associate just rolled her eyes at my daughter and her friend. What kind of attitude is that? I would recommend going to the store at Oak Ridge Mall as the sales associates over there are much friendlier and it's an overall more pleasant shopping experience.

Stephanie helped me out today with a few items and really knew her stuff. She is very educated on the products I was asking about and even intro-ed me to a new product I had been nervous about previously that I am excited to try. She was able to answer all of my questions and then some.

I’ve been here numerous times and never had an issue. Last time I’ve been here I was welcomed by an employee who asked if I needed help to find anything (to which I didn’t because I knew exactly what I wanted). Sadly they didn’t have things in stock that I needed so I just decided to walk around the store to see what they have. I was then approached by another employee asking me the same question If I needed help to find anything to which I said no thank you.
NOT even 5 minutes go by and the women that welcomed me in the store asks me again if I need help. At that point I was getting irritated. The staff should communicate to each other on the walkie and keep each other updated about which customers they have checked up with already.
I had a feeling as if I was being stared at, as if someone kept watching me WHICH was true as I saw other employee just looking at me from a decent distance. That was it for me and I just left the store without buying things that I wanted.
PS for the employees: just because customers like to look around your store IT DOESNT MEAN THAT WERE TRYING TO STEAL. Please stop assuming that. I felt uncomfortable and irritated about the whole situation.

Really friendly workers but really low on stock. Seems like every section was missing at least a few times. The service is fantastic but they can’t bring out the product magically…

This has quickly become my favorite Sephora to visit in the Bay Area. Don't let the size of the shop cast any doubts, your favorite brands are here, albeit in a more compact offering.

Bottom line: I can still get my skincare and haircare favorites and have exceptional service without worrying about parking at Santana Row or another busy shopping center.

Go grab some lunch or dinner downtown when you're finished. Los Gatos downtown is strong and full of great places to explore!
