One of the most incredible stays we’ve had. We’ve had a long week of traveling and this inn was the peaceful end to our trip that we needed. We immediately felt peace as soon as we stepped onto the grounds. The front desk staff was very nice and made sure to make us feel welcome by providing all the details we needed. We were a beautiful trail away from seals, ocean cliffside, and tide pools. The backyard garden was incredible and quiet, we loved having chairs to sit on right outside our door. The bedroom itself was beautiful, quiet and comfortable. We got cookies, glasses of wine, and a wonderful breakfast. We’re honestly sad we only stayed 1 night! We’d love to come back and will be telling everyone of this little inn that felt like Europe!

Beautiful and tranquil! I needed a mental health day and booked very last minute! The staff were friendly, welcoming and supportive! I loved my room! It had a fireplace, a super comfortable bed, garden view balcony! I wish I could have stayed there longer! I’m already planning on going back!!! Wonderful breakfast!!!

After reading the recent reviews, I am convinced that I must have stayed at another hotel because what we experienced was quite different. I finally found a review from April 2023 that expressed my feelings exactly. The staff were very warm and welcoming, but I am sorry to say it was down hill from there. The property (especially the gardens) were overgrown and not well maintained. The rooms were advertised as updated, but I don't think the bathroom has had any changes since the hotel was first built and required some much needed maintenance. The slider in the room did not work properly and looked like it needed to be replaced. The patio had chairs that had seen better days. The nightly wine reception was a glass of wine upon arrival--nothing more. Yes, they did have a nice selection of soft drinks in the communal area and you received a saran wrapped cookie upon arrival in your room. The common areas were uninspiring and did not look like the pictures on the website. Breakfast did not look freshly made and the pastries were definitely not freshly baked as advertised in their website. Very disappointing for the price we paid--over $425 and that was the least expensive room. This could be a beautiful property with some proper maintenance to the building and gardens; updating/improving on the interior decor/bathrooms; and better breakfast food/wine reception options. You already have the very nice staff!

I love the spot near half Moon Bay in between Santa Cruz and San Francisco. The two bedroom suite was fantastic and very comfortable with our three person family. Maybe the best part of this hotel is the proximity to the ocean and the hike paths, etc.. the breakfast in the morning was a nice treat and well done. I would love to make it back here again someday.

We stayed in one of the patio/garden rooms, which was a great choice. The room was immaculate and ready for us, even though we were a little early for check in. The staff person that explained the layout was very knowledgeable, and helpful. Everything was handled seamlessly. Our room was beautifully furnished, a gas fireplace, which was very welcome, a small refrigerator and a coffee machine. Robes, Towel heater, communal speciality coffee machine, and a beautiful custom breakfast served either in your room or the comfortable dining area. There is wonderful hiking trails and a marine reserve adjacent to the property, and restaurants close by. All of the staff is outstanding. A great “Get Away”.

We had an amazing stay at this charming bed and breakfast just outside San Francisco. The location is perfect—there’s a beautiful coastal trail just steps away, and the ocean sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. Each evening, they hosted a complimentary happy hour with drinks, which was such a nice touch. Mornings were just as special with a delicious breakfast delivered right to our room. Our suite had a full kitchen and the most comfortable sheets we’ve ever slept on—we loved them so much we bought a set to take home! Overall, a wonderful experience at a truly unique and relaxing spot.

Everything was wonderful. The room was ready, clean and comfortable. The ocean is a short walk away and we left the slider open all night to hear the ocean. The view of the garden and ocean was breathtaking. The staff and service were exceptional from check in to checkout.!! Loved the cookie and wine at arrival and beverage counter throughout the night. They gave included the nicest touches to make our stay a perfect getaway! We will be back❤️

We enjoy staying at this place because it's so tranquil. We enjoy how quiet the place is even when fully booked. Additionally, the beds are very comfortable.||The inn provides a continental breakfast based on the type of breakfast you want. This is determined upon check in. Wine is also served from 5-6 each evening. ||Staff are very friendly and so accommodating. They really make it a priority to make your stay enjoyable. We highly recommend this inn.
