Hit and miss... More miss lately. portions are amazing but quality is low for dinner. Go before 3pm, everything after that seem to be leftovers. Extras they optimistically hoped to sell sooner, but has been sitting and reheated. Sometimes its great, other times i literally throw it away and microwave a frozen pizza. Sorry, I live in Osos, but can't support the restaurant.

No Longer in my weekly bachelor rotation. But at the beginning of '24 this was in my top 3 locally, now I've been disappointed 1 too many times.

The tortas are superb! Then the carne asada fries should be tried. This place knows a good serving size. Next up burritos.

Stopped by during the grand opening weekend, staff was friendly and helpful all smiles and quite a few customers ordering and in seated area.
Brand new fixtures everything clean and well stocked and priced, also have some fresh veggies and spices and takeaway prepared salsas and guac.
Menu is pretty straightforward with burritos, tacos, sopas, tortas etc and a few meats to choose from.
We ordered the Pastor Torta for $6.99 and it was out in about 5 minutes. Flavor of the meat and spice was good, along with tomato, beans, jalepeno, and lettuce to fill it out.
Of the tortas I've had, it's pretty normal but not special or a great deal. And unfortunately they opened within a block of two other Mexican options, and I can't see this being my first choice except for the atmosphere and seating area which was very nice.
If I wanted to watch a game over a beer and some clean Mexican food, this would probably be a great choice, and we will definitely come back and try some of the other food and maybe breakfast items.

Hands down the best Mexican food in town. Nicest people work in there. I haven’t had a bad thing from here in 5 years ever since they opened. The tacos, burritos, breakfast burritos, hot sauces, the meat counter, the list goes on and on. I’m always satisfied and can’t wait until I get hungry again so I can go back in and get some more food. Thank you so much San Miguel Market! You guys are awesome!

Went to try their tacos, and they were not all that great. I think they soak their meat in a dye or food coloring to make it appear as if it is the real deal, when in fact it isn't.
The market does have some great Mexican herbs and spices to make your own Al Pastor tacos. They have a good selection of fried pork rinds of different flavors and surprisingly different textures.
Just come for the market and skip the tacos.

Originally ordered the chile relleno and taco combo but later asked if it could be put in a burrito. It didn't disappoint. Just enough spicy cheesy goodness with beans, rice and carnitas. Will try pastor next time. 😍

We love San Miguel in town! They have awesome burritos and tortas. The specials are so yummy too. I've tried their green pozole and Tinga chicken and both specials were delicious.
Their deli is great too, fresh queso fresco and meats. If you having parties or people over, just order the big plates.

Came by to check out the place on grand opening weekend. Menu is solid and the market is very well stocked. The seating area is nice and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. The food is reasonably priced which is great. Ordered a pastor torta and it was okay, nothing to write home about. The meat deli looks great though. It is a shame that the opened within a block of two other Los Osos Mexican food staples though. Will definitely be back to try some more food to give a chance to work out the kinks.

I've given them another few tries and the food is pretty good. I still have to knock it a bit for the torta as it was pretty mediocre. Having had two more meals here though, the other food is very good. I tried a pollo burrito for lunch and it was very fresh tasting, everything seemed like it had just been prepared, even the rice. The green hot sauce included is very nice, a good little kick and good flavors. Despite still not having a breakfast menu available I decided to try and see what they make. I asked and they told me breakfast burritos were bacon, sausage, or chorizo. I initially ordered chorizo, but asked if he can make machaca. He replied yes and so that is what I ordered. Very kind of them to make something that isn't on the menu. It turned out great, the beef was well seasoned, the eggs fluffy, and just an all around good burrito. Thankfully this time they included two hot sauces and the red salsa is killer. Nice and spicy with really good flavors of roasted peppers. Overall pretty happy with this place and I look forward to the continued development of the space and menu.
