If I could give this store a 0 I would. The woman was extremely rude and racist. Everything in the store is marked up by 30-40%. When I walked in you could smell old raw meat which was mixed with a bleach smell. Their refrigerators were extremely dirty and they had dirty rags on the inside, at the bottom. The clerk had the nerve to start arguing and became frustrated when asked why the bags were 20 cents since LA County only charges 10. The service was so bad and the woman was beyond rude that I walked out...she lost a sale. I went down the street and spent more money with a kinder clerk and better experience. What's disgusting about this whole situation is you have people of color...taking advantage and treating other people of color...with money...terrible. Do better!

First time going into this particular Market actually Grocery Store and more was okay maintain cleanliness atmosphere customer service and so on. Was doing some checking on pricing etcetera and am glad I did and not just here. As for now currently can't say from before because first time customer that won't say anything else unless have good reasons for doing so. For those businesses that do not have websites and or email address then reviews section is read instead.

This is our favorite local market, with everything we need! I love coming here to see all the new food each week. The family is always here making sure everything is perfect, and they are all so friendly! Definitely check out the deli and be sure to try out some of their Italian specialties. Best prosciutto in the area—and for a reasonable price!

My cousin took here to show me the liquor selection which was great but ended spending more on the meats great service also.

What sweet and helpful staff. They are always nice and ready to help with what we need. This grocer has the basics you need for the neighborhood and an extended liquor selection for anyone. In addition to the basic grocery needs and wide liquor selection, there is an actual butcher! The shop is clean and there is ample easy parking. In the parking lot you can also find a recycle exchange to get your deposits back. I’m not sure what the recycle hours are but the grocer hours are nice and late. What a great asset to have in the neighborhood.

The manager Fadile whom is not the owner of Robert’s Market is very rude and is prejudice towards many of the neighborhood customers whom been coming to this market before he became the manager. He doesn’t represent integrity for the neighborhood, he isn’t welcoming or inviting. He doesn’t like BLACK people particularly, but is very very very very very very very very rude overall and makes my shopping experience uncomfortable. I vote him out

Horrible experience here! I come to LA regularly for work. I stopped in here on the way from the airport and had a mind boggling experience with the owner who seems to refuse to wear a mask, gloves etc and seems to insist that his employees don't either.

Having had to travel a lot for work, I've had to interact with a lot of people during the COVID-19 pandemic. I've become accustom to telling people without PPE that I have to interact with if they could please wear their masks. I always ask politely and generally people are very agreeable and apologetic. Not at Robert's Market! The rude unwillingness to obey my simple request was utterly reprehensible. I assume the person I interacted with was the owner. I left without purchasing anything.

The funny thing is they have a sign on the door that says masks are required. Clearly that isn't modeled or enforced.

Don't go here, it's just not safe!

Edit: In response to the business's comment. The owner is in the photo, just in the background. It's absurd that the owner blames solely the vendor for not wearing a mask when the owner himself is shown in the photo also unmasked. And the owner says he's going to try and get this vendor in trouble?! Well he doesn't enforce his own mask rule here. Really shameful!

Robert's Market is the best local store! Fresh produce, fabulously fresh meats in the deli, and the meals made by Abraham are simply delicious. You can walk around and shop while you smell your food cooking up. It's fast, delicious, and made with so much love. Everything is served with a smile. 🙂
