I’m not sure why this pharmacy always seems too busy to handle its customers. I really want to like this store, but I’m not sure if I’ll keep buying my prescriptions here much longer. Doesn’t seem like a happy place to work , or something.

I have constant problems getting a hold of a pharmacist at their place. When you have questions about your prescription they never answer their phone. A lot of questions can be lifesaving information that is not available. I quit using Rite aid in another town for the same reasons. Customer service is awful

I do love the counter people in the store I will start with that
Only giving one stars because the pharmacy is such a joke. There’s two older ladies there that are very sweet and listen ; but as for the rest of the people there they are so rude, you can tell they hate their job and do not want to be there or be picking g up the phone. I’ve had very few good experiences there and tonight was last straw for me:
I called to make sure my prescription was ready , 2/3 things were ready , and the 3rd he said to just get it over the counter (but this man was very rude about this and was mad I told him I can’t afford that right now) he ended up hanging up on me while I was still talking , anyways I have someone go pick it up for me, and I called after to see when the 3rd would be ready under the prescription, and he would pick up , hear my voice , and hang up …. I thought my damn speaker was broke so I called someone else to to be sure ! I ended up calling to complain with a manager and she hardly seemed to really care either.

Oh and if you want to wait hours…. Days…. Weeks…. For your NEEDED medication, please hit ya yreka pharmacy they got you covered on wasting time ? they have no hoots to give! Wanna feel like you don’t matter and you should just go without needed meds? Look no further yreka rite aid has got you!

I like this store for the most part, but they have the worst pharmacists and the beverage cooler is pretty warm. A few times i got my prescriptions here and it took hours everytime. Plus the beer and sodas always feel like they're room temperature, not really pleasing after a tough day at work. I'll keep cominghere, i just wish it'd get better.

Clean, friendly, and had exactly what I needed. I love their beverage options and the candy isle. This was my fourth store that day and they had exactly what I needed. The cashier was friendly and kind. I appreciated it after having a very long morning. Thanks!

Our Yreka, CA Rite Aid is an important facility in our town for the variety of things we can purchase there. It is convenient and the staff are all friendly and kind.

I moved pharmacies after my original review. My husband has not yet had his medications moved (he will now). He is diabetic. So medication is sort of a big deal. Unfortunately it seems his medications are the ones we would wait and wait on.

Final straw, I wouldn't give them a star at all if possible:

My family was really REALLY sick the last 3 weeks of Sept. I set up delivery (of husbands medication) so not to plague the rest of town. They accepted my address, my payment (took the money), confirmed delivery address, sent a confirmation that medication was going to be delivered. I then got a notification that it was delivered, at my address. I couldn't find it. They couldn't find it. I called them a second time and they told me "driver" (name w/held) had dropped off the medication at 3pm. I looked around the house, drove the ranch, etc. Nothing.

Called again, it was never even delivered! It was sitting in their store! The girl helping me said she didn't understand why it was input as dropped off at residence due to "they don't deliver where I live" (cross street closest is Phillipe), I could walk to the mill it's so close. I don't know WHAT is going on there but to make a customer believe that ANY medication is just kicking it around, in some random place (a decent size ranch), is unsettling, especially a lifesaving medication. It's not an Easter egg hunt. I eventually had to drive in to get it and because they wouldn't honor their already stated (proof sent to me), of drop off.

Time to switch. There hasn't been one time I've had a smooth transition with this pharmacy. Absolutely frustrating. I've used rite aid for years and the Yreka one has been the worst. Not to mention half the staff aren't exactly the friendliest.

This store has convenient hours, too bad the prices are high and the lines take too long. I will be moving my prescriptions elsewhere. If there is no line at the pharmacy, they still make you wait. Last time I went, I was ignored and left waiting first in line to pick up an already filled & ready prescription while folks were being pulled from the waiting area to pick up newly filled prescriptions.

Also, I am disturbed by the lack of security in this store. (This must be why they added bank type security glass windows at the pick up counter to protect themselves.) I even had to call the local authorities because of how aggressive another customer was and no protection from store employees. Another shopper was bothering people waiting for their prescriptions, asking for someone to give her a ride someplace. The clerks and the store didn’t do anything to stop this woman, just asked her to step back from the pick up window.

As for the store, the prices are outrageously high and the line takes a LONG time to get through due to chitchat from employees at the checkout registers.
