I stopped by Rise Up Coffee Shop while visiting the area, and I’m so glad I did! The coffee was great, but the best part was the service—Alayna was the absolute sweetest. What a gem. I just had probably the best cortado that I can recall. Their stellar reputation is well earned. Buy some coffee to take home. The worst thing here in the parking. So patience is key.

Haven’t had the food but the coffee is always spot on. A little on the pricey side but about Starbucks rates. The location itself has a little iffy parking/dicey turn in and the interior could use some more character, but it seems like a nice place to stop in to get some work done and not as crowded as the Annapolis Parole Center.

Always loved there coffee and there chorizo burrito always been top tier for me. Only complaint is that i keep paying extra for extra green salsa and i end up only getting one. Other then that i love them so much i still want to leave a 5 stars. Also I’d like people to know yes parking is minimal in the front of the building but there’s a small parking lot in the back too with a back alley that takes you right to the shop.

Sunday was my first time ordering from RiseUp. I really wanted to like them but my fiancé's food was burnt. Everything else came out really good. I saw a review 4 months ago stating the same thing but I thought my experience would be different. I'm willing to give them a 2nd try but, please be aware if you get a biscuit it may be a lil crispy 🥴

Fail today Rise Up team. My wife went in to get me my favorite bacon egg and cheese sandwich. One of the best in the area. The cashier forced her to take one of the premade ones as “they were just put in the case and they are the same”. Nope. Rubber fried egg. Not scrambled. Rubber cheese. Not melted cheese. Soggy rubber bacon. Not fresh crispy bacon. Muffin that was not toasted. Big fail. Threw it away. I get it. You have these for convenience. But when your customer is willing to wait and pay the extra money. Listen to the customer. Honestly this makes the McDonald’s version look gourmet. Off to find my new favorite bacon egg and cheese sandwich.

Ordered 2 drinks and 2 breakfast food items. Didn't get my second drink only until about 25 minutes after when i went to the cashier and asked when i could get the second drink. Asked how much longer for the food as i would see other customers get their orders before me when they would order after me and all i got for an answer was “i don’t know” . Took my drinks and left with no food. Im really patient but if all you have to say is “i dont know” after Ive been waiting over 25 minutes seeing others order after me and get their stuff before me its not a good look. ☹️

The food and coffee is really good. The service is terrible and they will guaranteed mess your order up every other visit. They are ran by a bunch of clueless teens that care very little for their job. As long as you have patience to walk these kids through doing their job and you know to expect incompetence when you go then you won’t be disappointed.
