tl;dr: if you're looking to address an issue with your body, Dr. Danh is your person. Thorough, attentive, diligent, warm. You'll learn a lot and get better day by day.

I worked with Dr. Danh for 5.5 months when I was living in Long Beach. We focused our work rehabbing my achilles tendon and overall lower body after three separate Achilles Tendon-related surgeries. I moved back to LA, working with a different physical therapist but am grateful for the foundation of physical and mental ability that Dr. Danh helped forge.

I always will appreciate Dr. Danh's kindness, diligence, and ability to listen. Those were not easy times physically but also mentally. I had to learn many everyday movements that I previously took for granted. Dr. Danh, as a number of reviewers note, has slightly unorthodox approaches that include a much more holistic approach with diet, sleep, recovery, mindset, and movement. I trusted him with his recommended process and still refer to a lot of what I learned even though I'm in a more traditional and equally helpful physical therapy program.

Oh also, free and safe parking in the lots next to his office on the first floor of the building.

Short review - Dr. Ngo at ReVITALize Rehab is fantastic! He helped me find the root causes of my pain and gave me exercises and health strategies to deal with them, and also overall health optimization advice.

Long Review: I was in a car accident 25 years ago and my femur broke and a rod was put in my leg. Since then I’ve dealt with chronic pain and have been in and out of physical therapy. However, I’ve always been active and before quarantine I was kickboxing and HIIT training. During quarantine I gained weight, sprained my right ankle badly where the bone broke and learned I have bad osteoarthritis in my right hip from years of imbalances. After my ankle sprain I had trouble waking and some days were so bad I could barely walk the stairs in my house. I went to Dr. Ngo after going to two other traditional physical therapy places that were good at temporary relief but not good at telling me the root causes of my issues and how to fix them. I also felt rushed at those places where the therapist would juggle 3 patients at a time. Dr. Ngo was super knowledgeable about what was causing my pain and how to make changes to improve my pain and improve my mobility for the future. He also recommended I get several things to help my overall health, an O2 meter, a great electrolyte powder, and other tools. Highly recommended!

Donn NGO is a fantastic PT the best I ever had ,he thinks new and practical ways of exercise to relieve pain , he help me with the worse pain that I have in my abdomen with massage and cold therapy to relieve the scar tissue. His exercises were unique and unusual seems to bring results by following them, I strongly recommend him for his top of the line therapy.

GUYS!!! I am a hot mess. I've been to so many PT's I have a database going over here! Cutting to the chase- Dr Ngo is so different than any PT I've ever gone to. First thing's first- he did a short intake questionnaire and discovered my severe ADHD and that my problem with PTs is that I don't ever do the exercises at home- only during the appt. That right there was HUGE for me!! From that point on, he adjusted his methods to be about me and my learning style! I HAVE NEVER HAD THAT BEFORE!!!
Also, he looks at things holistically which I love so much! He explains exactly why something is happening so I can understand why the treatment is working!
Not gonna lie- I hit a bump in the middle of the treatments where i lost motivation (Ugh ADHD) and I told him and he helped me work around it! It was so amazing.

PS- He regularly checks in with me because I told him in my intake that I like that and so he followed through!

I have loved my experience with Dr. Danh. I have never had a doctor of any kind treat me with so much patience and humanity, and to look at me as a whole person. Dr. Danh goes above and beyond to not just treat your symptoms but the underlying causes: his curiosity and compassion make him an unrivaled healthcare practitioner. I had no idea it was possible to be treated so well medically. Go see Dr. Danh!

The treatment and guidance I’ve received from Dr. Ngo has turned my life around. The pain I was dealing with prevented me from doing the things I loved and deeply affected my mood. From the beginning Dr Ngo demonstrated a deep understanding of what was going on. Within a month I was back to surfing and running. Before I could barely turn my head. He sorted out the nerve problem no other specialist could. You will not find anyone more knowledgeable, kind or committed.
