I use to get my tattoos from Andrew when he worked at Mr. Inkwell’s and after he got fired I followed him to Retro Row Ink. Never thinking he would treat me so badly. I’ve gone to him since he started. He has always done my Disney tattoos and was excited about doing them. I reached out to him to get another tattoo and he was really rude/dismissive. He tells me that I can’t afford his prices, how would he know, and that he doesn’t do my kind of tattoos. He told me to go elsewhere. He is not a professional tattoo artist. You as a tattoo artist should take better care of your long term customer

Today after last minute deciding to get a tattoo, I walked into Retro Row and my expectations were immediately exceeded. I was greeted by Cody at the door, who had a great cheery attitude and they made me feel very comfortable, answering all of my questions and explaining how my tattoo will be the price of the store’s minimum ($100). The waiver was very quick and simple to do and Cody was able to get the materials ready while I filled it out and even offered us water to make sure we felt comfortable. Even at the table, they gave me PLENTY of time to make sure I was making the right decision before they start the tattoo process, offering many different sizes of stencils and placements as well, giving their advice on which placement is the best. They also gave encouragement and was able to distract me by talking to me during the painful parts of the process. It was overall such a great experience and if I were to get another tattoo in the future, I would definitely go back to Retro Row Ink (even though I don’t live in the area). Thank you Cody!!

Zach Chang is absurdly talented and I'm so happy to have had my last three tattoos done by him! 😊 He always does an amazing job. I appreciated his willingness to make adjustments I asked for day of. He even included my own personal art style into a design! That was so thoughtful and meant a lot to me. ❤️ My last tattoo was a complicated concept, but he took the time for us to fully discuss it and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. He is patient, considerate, accommodating, and very fair with his pricing as well! Can't recommend him enough!

i always wanted to get snakebite piercings and i finally came in and got them done by Gabe!!
i have a slightly crooked vertical labret (done by a different piercer) that ive had for years and Gabe was super amazing (AND patient) about taking the time to line them up perfectly.
im super picky and marking the piercings took waaayyy longer than the piercing itself, but Gabe had no problem moving it a million times for me (whoops) and still did the whole thing with a smile 😀
the shop was also suuuuper clean and the atmosphere felt very comfortable!!
overall amazing experience, will be coming back for my next piercing <3

Nika is amazing!! She did the cleanest lines on a black and white lavender tattoo for me… I’m obsessed! I went in with a group and Aaron tattooed some of the boys - he did incredible work too!

Definitely coming back for my laundry list of tattoos! Can’t wait!

If you’re looking to get your knee blasted in the dopest style ever, Misa is your person! They really came through with a great rendering of the Jaguar style that I was looking for. We had several email exchanges prior to my visit and they were very communicative. My partner and I have both been tattooed by them. Overall a very clean and chill place to get tattooed. Definitely recommend!! 🙌🏽

Recently got a tattoo from Misa at this shop and love it! It was a spur of the moment walk in and she did an incredible job designing and tattooing. The other artists there were nice, the space is open with just great vibes all around. Will definitely be getting more work done here!
