I’ve been to a dozen different acupuncturists ( all good) and Cyndi is by far the best. She’s a HEALER. Her approach is very different and her knowledge is so deep. I think she’s been doing this for 30 years plus and you’ll notice her expertise as soon as you walk in. I make the drive from Pasadena to Solvang ( 5-6 hrs round trip) because she’s the only one that can fix the problem I have rather than just reduce the pain temporarily. I first went to her in 2022 when I was suffering from chronic back pain for over a decade. Life quality was poor and sometimes wished I didn’t want to continue living .After spending so much money and time that did very little , Cyndi fixed me in 6 visits and I went on to live the best life. I still go to stay tuned up and for other issues that may come up . I just hope she gets to teach future acupuncturists so there are more healers in this world. Thank you CYNDI !!!!!!!!!

For almost three years I had -at times terrible- backpain which was completely misdiagnosed by another doctor. This year the pain under my shoulder blade increased and was constant, day and night, stopping me from sleeping and
stealing all my life energy throughout the day, I was unable to do chores. Then I called Cindy-she assessed correct situation, gave me a common sense diagnosis [ what the other doc could not ] and said:" Ok- I have a plan." How encouraging - these words!!! Twice a week sessions for 5 weeks which were amazing- and my back pain incl the pins and needles in arm and weakness in hand ..and then some ... was gone.My energy is back [ dancing with my dogs again!] - what a blessing to get your life back!
Cindy helped me before when my upper eyelid did not close [ not even blink] after a small surgical procedure below {!} the eye close to my nose.The surgeon had no clue what to do because the upper eyelid was far away from where he had touched the skin. I went to a friendly and thorough eye specialist but still no explanation let alone a recommendation to correct my staring eye - it looked freaky...
I called Cindy and she -again- gave me hope right away and after the first session my eyelid worked about 80 % better { no dry eye or blurry vision anymore- yay!!!} , one more session and everything was at 100% great shape again. Thank you Cindy for your expertise and your compassionate heart doing the work of a lightbeing helping body and soul !!!
And yes- I am looking forward to coming back for maintenance sessions with your peaceful healing music. What a treat !!! Thank you !!!

After experiencing excruciating back pain, I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon who ordered an MRI. I was told I had a "massive" herniated disc that was compressing a nerve and that was the source of my pain. I was told the only option I had was surgery. I had to wait 3 weeks for surgery and needed to manage the pain in the interim without meds as I have children and had to work. A friend told me about Cyndi Redfern, and though I was skeptical about acupuncture, I was desperate, so I booked an appointment. She told me she guaranteed she would heal the herniated disc (she knew the disc and nerve without looking at the MRI). I told her I didn't need a guarantee that she could heal it, I was scheduled for surgery and just wanted pain management. Long story short, at my pre-op, my surgeon asked what my pain level was. At my first appointment I told her between a 1-10 it was a 100. At my pre-op I told her it was between a 1-2. She asked me if I was just afraid of surgery and was I lying about the pain level. Nope - I told her we should move forward with the surgery because I had acupuncture and it was probably just masking the pain. She said no - a 1-2 pain level was what we would be shooting for after surgery. Cyndi did, in fact, heal my back and save me from having back surgery. That was 4 years ago and I horseback ride and work out 5 days a week. About once a year I'll feel a little ache and I'll see Cyndi for a maintenance treatment. She has also helped with arthritis in my hand and my asthma. I have referred several of my friends to her and they have the same success stories. She is wonderful and such a blessing to have in our Santa Ynez Valley.

Cindy is a healer! After just two sessions I am feeling so much better. My pain was acute for almost 4 weeks. As a dance teacher I couldn’t afford to be home in pain.
