Updated…
I love going to this Ralph’s because it’s big and close to my home. The one negative about it is some of the female cashiers are VERY rude (besides the VERY nice lady working self checkout at 4:40 pm on 04/04/2024) ! If you have personal issues to work out, please do it in private! Customers don’t need to feel your negative energy!

Update 01/23/2025
Most of the staff is very nice but they still have one lady that is VERY rude to customers! I saw her completely ignore a customer who asked her the same question 3 times. She looked right at her, heard her question, but still rudely ignored her. Then the customer turns to me and says “ i understand her having a bad day but this is ridiculous “ to which I replied “ she’s like that every time” I will be complaining to corporate now. This is unacceptable!!

Standard gricery store in the decline of our civilization. Go to TJ's for higher quality and lower prices.

Deli is awful. The worker behind the counter refused to slice turkey for me because they had pre-made bags made. I waited for her for awhile while she was serving other customers. It gets to my turn and then she talked down to me like a child. Apparently the Tuesday deal is only on the pre-made bags (according to her). I go on Tuesday just for that deal. I have never had a problem with deli in seal beach. The deli people are rude at the PCH store like every single time. If you don't like slicing meat then don't work in the deli. The fact that I waited only to have her talk down to me in front of people was humiliating.

The food selection at this store is pretty good. The service staff the night I visited, however, were unfriendly and seemed unwilling to engage in polite conversation as I was checking out. Not was the cashier dismissive (observation based perceived via non-verbal cues since she didn’t talk nor respond to my attempts to converse with her), the woman bagging groceries was aloof as well. I only stop at this store if I have to. I much prefer the one located on Seal Beach Blvd. in Seal Beach.
