Coming to Bodega Bay I had expected to find a grocery store this well stock and managed this deep into the coast. The sandwiches here are great and there is a fine selection of beers and anything you need if you’re spending the weekend up here from out of town highly recommended.

Wonderful place with awesome selection. The man at the counter was not only super friendly but also very helpful. Had literally everything I needed and a few niche items too. Those included wide range of California based alcohols and also some of your common ones too. I’d happily go back and shop here any day of the week that I’m passing through of course!

Best sandwiches, chocolate chip cookies, and year round lunch in Bodega Bay!

We worked with Mark and his team to order lunch box catering for our work event, and he knocked it out of the park. He was super willing to accommodate any request we had at a great price. Super friendly, great communicator, and on time! Attaching some photos of our order.. so fresh, and thoughtfully put together. Also, the best cookie I've ever had! Thanks again Mark!!!

Pelicans Grocery and Deli is a wonderful store. It's so well-stocked, you can find just about anything here. The vegetables and fruit is all fresh, and they have a great selection of food in generell and great wine. There’s also a counter with fresh homemade salads. The seafood salad is addictive, and the sandwiches are amazing. They're the best you can buy in Bodega, and the best we've had in a long time. The owners are exceptionally friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

I ordered lunch boxes for a cycling group and everything was fabulous!! The sandwiches were huge and perfectly customized, and everything else included (potato salad, chips, fruit, cookies) made for a perfect lunch after a bike ride. The owners were easy to work with - highly recommend stopping by or giving them a call if you need to feed a group lunch 🙂

The best grocery shop in town. Mark is super helpful with any questions you have. He did his best to accommodate my needs in my shopping. He has a family oriented mindset. The stock is voluminous with different options. We came here almost everyday while we stayed in town.

Love this deli!!! Lots of options and best of all, it is super clean and organized, honestly my top priority in any deli. The sandwich counter is also amazing, and the owner Mark himself made my specialty plant-based sandwich - it was SO delicious!! Mark and Lara are the sweetest people and as a regular out here in Bodega Bay, I have to say visitors are extremely lucky to come across a deli and shop owners like these!

p.s. I'm semi-plant-based but one of my weaknesses is Straus ice cream, which is hard to come by... and they have over 6 different flavors!

My first time here and it will not be my last. I ordered a vegetarian sandwich on a sourdough roll. Sourdough roll was super fresh. Really nice staff. Sandwich is delicious and reasonably priced. Market has everything you need.
