Been to PAUSE (West Hollywood) a few times now for their contrast therapy (sauna/cold plunge) and float tank! I'm not sure if it's the ability to go off the grid for an hour, the effects of the cold plunge (just do it and make sure to go all the way under!), or the Le Labo private shower products that has me feeling REBORN after my session, but PAUSE might just be the right wellness center for you.

I haven't tried all of their services quite yet, because I have been doing contrast (sauna/cold plunge) ON REPEAT, but excited to try their cryo, red light therapy, and maybe even some of their IVs. Their staff is also super kind, cute, and friendly.

I know it sounds scary, but try also make sure to check out the float tank for one visit! Will (Pause) helped ease me into the experience by explaining how to get in, and also gave me some key pointers/tips: (wear ear plugs, use the heads-rest, and try arms above the head*), to enhance the stillness of the zero gravity experience. And let me tell you: I felt like I was in bliss for a lifetime. I'm not sure where I went, but it wasn't until I was gently woken up by the room's voice, did I realize how content I was - floating in darkness! (They also have ambient light settings for those afraid of the dark 😉

Tip: I read they have monthly membership options (starting at just 1x per month) for those wanting regular wellness, but on a skinny-budget 😉

Highly recommend booking a service (at least to try it!), and checking it out for yourself. I think they have other locations in LA (I haven't been), but the West Hollywood location is nestled in a super cute of the district - cute coffee/bakeries places around for a lite snack after! Treat yourself!

Amazing place, amazing staff, who go above and beyond to ensure your comfort. Pause is the perfect name for this zen establishment. I live a really hectic life, and I don’t know how I’d cope if not for the vast range of services they offer to help me stop the madness and unwind. There’s something for everyone, but my personal favorites are the infrared sauna and IV treatments. No matter how stressed or exhausted I am when I arrive, I always leave feeling completely renewed. If you’re looking for a place to recharge—physically, mentally, and emotionally—Pause is truly a sanctuary. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing!!! I went in for the first time last week and was blown away by the service. All the employees were super knowledgeable and helpful. Eric at the front desk gave such great advice on staying in the cold plunge longer and it really helped me feel the full benefits. The rooms are super clean and the whole placeI will definitely be coming back soon.

I love the services offered, especially the sauna. I bit the bullet and got a monthly unlimited membership and it’s completely worth it! Easy booking on the app, online or simply calling in. The staff is efficient, courteous, and super friendly. And the facility is always EXTREMELY clean. Love it love it LOVE IT!

An absolutely bonkers business. When I purchased a float package I was told it didn't expire and that I could use my sessions at any location. You can imagine my surprise when I was told that my float package had expired and that I couldn't use it at any other Pause locations (despite having done so in the past). I never get a straight answer from anyone. I'm always told to talk to someone else, but that person is never reachable. If you send them an email it must vanish into the virtual ether, because they never respond.

Also, the float rooms aren't kept to the same standards they once were. It seemed quite clear that the float room had not been attended to after the previous customer. The pod water also had a faint urine smell to it. When I brought it up at reception I was given the usual spiel about the water filtering system in the pods. It was like talking to a robot with preprogrammed responses. Not helpful or useful in the slightest.

The reviews here are highly suspect. They read like they were written by friends and family of the owners or staff.

Anyway

I don't foresee myself returning to any Pause location in the future.

I’m completely addicted to this place! I do cryo and the LED bed at least 4 times a week and look and feel better. The contrast therapy is incredible and relaxing and all of the services make you feel like you spent a day at the spa. I’m about to start the vitamin shots. Did I tell you they come with my package? The staff is off the charts fabulous. Will, the manager, is knowledgeable and so lovely. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Treat yourself.It will be so worth it.

My mom and I had an amazing experience at Pause Studio Hollywood! The infrared sauna and cold plunge were incredibly rejuvenating, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. We were especially impressed by Raven, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and felt completely comfortable. Her attention to detail and friendly service really stood out. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend Pause Studio to anyone looking for a top-notch wellness experience!

For the past three years, Pause has been my haven of tranquility. The staff exude kindness, friendliness, and expertise, making every visit a pleasure. The services offered are exceptional, and the pricing is quite reasonable. Not to mention, Pause’s space is so inviting and aesthetic is so divine, they’ve truly created the perfect environment for slowing down and unwinding. I highly recommend!
