From a 1 to 10, I would rate this a 10 out of 10. The staff was awesome to work with and Sarah was very responsive with our needs. She made this experience easy for us. We had issues with another venue in town that was rude and rushed us out the door. I was expecting the same thing here but that was not the case and will be booking future events. Shout out to Juan at the YMCA, he was there on time and went above and beyond to help us when he didn’t need to. We recommend YMCA for anyone planning an event in town.

I signed up for a CPR/First Aid class for April 9, 2022. I got to the site 10 minutes early and stayed 15 minutes after the start time. I figured that the instructor might be behind schedule. Nope. The class got cancelled. No one showed up. I got no email, no text, no call stating that the class was canceled. I tried calling Oroville YMCA to ask if the class was canceled and of course no one answered. Don’t waste your time with Oroville YMCA. They don’t even have the decency to tell you that a class you signed up for has been cancelled. They want you to waste your time, come to the site, and figure it out yourself. Give me my $100 dollars back.

It's very Nice and Clean. The water is a little chilly at times but it's Okay. There is a Chair lift that can be Used to get You in or out of the pool. They have water aerobics at 9:00 a.m. and again at 10:00 a.m. come join the fun ?

I spent several weeks here using the gym and attending classes including water fit. The staff are friendly, welcoming and upbeat. The pool is heated perfectly and the gym has all the basics you need. The classes are great fun and I enjoyed the community feel where people are friends and everyone is welcome. Would highly recommend the water fit classes!

Love the course however the instructor has only showed up once in 4 sessions....u think they would have conveyed they don't actually instruct for their aquatics?!

After going to several classes: core training, yoga, aerobics, water aerobics and tai chi, over the past few months I have to say that the instructors are knowledgeable, professional and enthusiastic for what they teach and truly care about the participants. Every class is different and I have enjoyed all of them, even prefer them to large sports clubs and personal trainers that I have experienced in the past. The facility is clean and quaint and is a great way to stay connected to the community. If you are looking for smaller, more customized classes with amazing instructors and friendly members then you should try this YMCA!

I have been a long time water aerobics participant. It has helped me through several surgeries and cancer treatments. I am a firm believer in the value of the water exercise program. The instructors are "top notch." I am Donna Freeland. George, my husband, encourages me to keep going.

I love it. The YMCA is great for any age. Oroville Y has a nice variety of activities. The facility is clean, everything is always in its place and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help.
