Onmicare is owned by CVS. They were charging my mother-in-law in Brookdale memory care exorbitantly high prices for drugs that should be free or nearly free on Medicare. Brookdale Senior Living will charge us $400/month if we do not use Omnicare as her pharmacy. I escalated the issue and it took time, effort, and persistency, but we were able to resolve by switching to different medications that were more affordable. This system to too hard for seniors to navigate - or anyone for that matter. It is too easy to overcharge seniors for medication.

Failed to deliver meds for a hospice patient. Delay caused her to miss 2 rounds of medication. 3 prescriptions were missing when they finally did deliver after 24 hours. Unacceptable.
