I was at Olive View today. Had 2 scheduled appointments and still had to wait a long time get seen. On top of that, I had to pickup medications and had to wait for my number to be called only to tell me that they need to process my prescription just to wait for another hour. When I got up to the window a second time. The lady Tammy was helping a co-worker. When her coworker left she still asked me to hold on one moment after I've been waiting for a long time. The pharmacy has no respect for their patients time and think that we have all day to wait. I got to Olive View at 7:45 and left there at 12:45. It shouldn't take that long especially if I had an appointment and the doctor called put in the prescription.

Literally every other pharmacy in the world will fill medications so they are actually ready when you are told to come pick them up. But not Olive View Medical Center. You have to come in and take a number, wait hours for that number to be called, go to a window, then get told you have to wait another hour for your medication to be filled.

If it truly worked to wait until the customer was in place to start filling meds, other pharmacies would be doing it as well. If you can't wait 8 hours and have to leave, they don't fill the prescription even though you already checked in but still send a message later that it is ready to pick up.

Then you go wait 4 hours again through the same process as if you never tried the day before only to wait another hour after that because the prescription still isn't filled.

You can do better for your patients, Olive View. This is truly pathetic. Thanks for not prioritizing patient care.

Sometimes it’s a great place! Yet, other times you question who hired some of their staff. It’s a hit or miss with service. However, it’s standard for county hospitals.

Pharmacy wouldn't check on a prescription when I suspected something was wrong. Not doing that almost killed me and cost me half my colon and 3 months in the hospital. The hospital and pharmacy buried two investigations. They refused to ever give me an official outcome of their investigations including me getting harassment phone calls from the hospital line from a Doctor who would not identify himself and obviously had access to my medical records..

This pharmacy is a joke! Great hospital but terrible pharmacy, it's so disorganized, takes hour to get your medications, the lobby is so far from pharmacy,.Lot of wasted time. I'll change my prescriptions somewhere else

This is the WORST possible pharmacy in the entire United States. Never in my life have I experienced such patient negligence from a pharmacy. The staff are HORRIBLE in patient care and customer service. The waits for the phone will range 20mins - 90mins. The wait inside to pick up is about the same. Most people have to come here because we have no other choice. If you have a choice, don’t make the mistake of going to this pharmacy.

Very unprofessional it's Sunday 8:36 and they are still not open. I have anxiety coming here triggers. Now I understand all the security they have. Management should get on the employees to do their job and open the pharmacy 8:30.
