I recently visited Georjana Shames for an acupuncture treatment for MS. The facility was nice and clean and the front desk assistants were helpful and polite. As I sat in the lobby waiting for my appointment time, I watched as each PT came out to get their patient and everyone was polite and friendly.
I have never done acupuncture before, so I was a little hesitant. Ms. Shames made me feel comfortable and explained everything as the treatment progressed. She is very knowledgeable and friendly.
I came to the appointment with tightness in my side (MS hug) and pain in my hips and lower legs. After the treatment, I felt great; however, as the day progressed, the pain did gradually return. Ms. Shames did inform me this could and probably would happen since this was my first session.
I was extremely pleased with the professionalism of the staff and the results of the treatment. I am looking forward to future visits and seeing how the treatments will offer some relief from the pain.

I've been seeing Georjana Shames for a number of months now for accupuncture for nuropathy. Most of my numbness is gone and the nerves in my hands and feet have some feeling and are beginning to behave more normally. Georjana Shames is phenomenal on many levels. I came in with neuropathy pain in my fingers. She took the time to explain what she was doing and why to have the best results with the acupuncture. I saw an improvement while I was still in the office. I would recommend her and am so glad she is at the Slidell location.

I got hurt and had surgery about 20yrs ago, I fell in June(2022) which started up my old injury ,plus more pain in my neck and on my right arm. I have been to several therapy places but this one here is the BEST. I have walked in that place with my pain level 10 plus and the therapist (Carmen & Jennifer) they've worked with me until my pain level is at least a four or less ,they care about you ,they call and check on you when your not there they are AWESOME and I refer them to anybody that has any kind on body aches, injury or pain etc. THEY NEED 10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This facility is on point & the staff are so welcoming & helpful. I went here for upper back issues along with acupuncture & have noticed a difference. Allen & Connor along with their extended teams of help are so amazing & listen to you. Also Gigi with acupuncture is so AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
