Amazing place. They really care.Very kind and caring staff. My mom was recently discharged from the place.I am so grateful for everyone working there.A lot of wonderful people to help. From admission to discharge it was so smooth and stress free.Staff is so well coordinated,they all listen to the patients. All the nurses and staff are just great.

All the staff are nice to me they took care of me,everything was just perfect,if I get hurt I will always come back here,even the staff at cafeteria are great. Nicole is a very good cook.i am gonna miss everybody here.

My mother spent 3 1/2 months rehabilitating at the facility after suffering a very difficult medical crisis that affected her mental and physical wellbeing in December to the point we didn't think she would survive and therefor we knew it would be a long and hard recovery, if at all. The staff at North Star were incredibly professional, patient and paid attention to the details that made the difference in her recovery physically and mentally. She is almost back to 100% and that can be accredited to this being a smaller facility with the ability to engage and really know their patients and therefor quickly identify and address any issues. If you want personalized care and not be treated as a number on a chart, this is the place to go.

Nurses are nice,food is better now it was terrible before now it's good, I am a current resident here and I like it very much , new social worker listens to the concerns and tried to work on it,

North Starr’s staff was absolutely amazing!!! From the nurses, CNAs and office staff. My father was in two other facilities and by far, North Starr is the place he received the most compassionate and professional care. Calls were returned same day and the medical care was great. My father spent 10 months there and the staff treated him with patience, kindness and creative solutions. There are not enough words to express my family’s gratitude, up to his last day. I absolutely recommend North Starr for senior care

North Star It is great place this is my 3rd time there. I had a choice for the 2nd and 3rd time. I have been other places. The staff is what I like they are so professional and caring at what they doHreat facility

Where to start ... first of all super rude, unprofessional, uncooperative, this place is nowhere near a post acute elderly care facility it's more like an elderly mill... very understaffed and they were charging my mom's insurance 13 1/2 thousand dollars a month to be left with bedsores neglected and left to die...if your family member is incoherent and cannot have a conversation or speak for themselves they will be left to die... I was in there 2 x a day for 4 hours a day every day .... I asked repeatly for help and was denied or had to argue for simple things like lotion or to have my moms bottom cleaned correctly .... sham on this place
