This place is incredible! From their barista pulling perfect espresso shots, to the beautiful latte art he pours while in a casual conversation. Their food they sell is fantastic. I haven’t tried it all but I love the vinegars and of course the Chai. First timers go for the dirty Chai. You won’t regret it! And in PSL season go for the Pumpkin Chai.

No indoor seating so chilly morning sunrises are cozy with everyone in line trying to stay warm. And bring a big blanket to wrap up in on the front porch.

This place is always great. Their scones are delicious - and I'm not a scone person. They use all natural ingredients. On Friday and Saturday mornings they also have breakfast burritos, which are so good they sell out by mid-morning. Their coffee and espresso drinks are always consistently good.

Anytime I’m driving up to Truckee, or just making my way that way, I will stop by NorthFork Chai. As the name says, they are known for their chai (and even sell it as a concentrate!), but do NOT sleep on their breakfast! Especially their breakfast sandwich. When you order the breakfast sandwich, it’s like a build-your-own, and they have different greens, cheeses, and spreads to choose from. You can also add avocado or meat for additional charge. They sell a bunch of their homemade ingredients in their cafe as well, which I love browsing through. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area, or going out of your way (it’s worth it!)

Great local chai place. They have amazing chai and coffee. The breakfast sandwiches are always amazing and completely homemade. You can't go wrong if you are looking for a yummy bite and drink to start your day.

Exactly what you’d hope for chai! Have been visiting since opening day and was a purchaser prior to the cafe opening.

Chelsea and Josh provide a cozy environment with eclectic and creatively sourced decor.

The food is top notch and unlike anything else available in the area, near or far.

Special shout out to the coffee when not having the chai… it’s incredible and hard to come by another cup from elsewhere that compares.

For the chai lovers, this is a special gift. Perfect level of sweetness without feeling like syrup. The boldness of the fresh herbs and spices are a beautiful balance to whatever milk of your choosing is paired with.

Busy most days and certainly worth the wait. Thank you Chelsea, Josh & family for bringing this gem to our sweet town.

A great locally owned coffee and tea house. Out of the way, but worth it for the quality and lower prices. They make their own chai, and the best scones in the region!

Nestled in the same Newcastle parking lot as the Denny’s off I-80, North Fork Chai Co is not to be missed. It's cozy atmosphere and artisan menu items will turn any ordinary day into something special. From their signature chai latte - brewed with love- to avocado toast topped off with bacon jam, it all pairs perfectly thanks the owner Chelsea’s expertly crafted scones. The warm welcome you get each time add an extra layer of charm that makes this family run business truly one of kind experience! If you haven't visited yet, put them on your must try list ASAP!

My wife and I traveled up to Nevada City from Alameda to see our friends for the weekend. We visited this little cafe along the way. The people here are so kind, the atmosphere is very lax and the beverages are very very good. We will definitely be paying North Fork Chai Co. another visit on our next trip up.
