About 10 months ago [ its been better lately. ] didnt like the responsiveness it sometimes was lackin.[ if you want to call, you cant get thru last minute ever] Still, online is sometimes aleast 2 days [ a couple times last fall and winter they just didnt respond. However!!! the care is good. I love love love my therapist Stefanie. I've seen now 3 psychiatrists. The first was okay but I felt she was good at hiding it but I still detected how annoyed she was at me. Dr A is good. Kind man. Also runs everything Just wish theyd invest more in support staff to make communication quicker. And now I have a new psych cuz the annoyed one quit [maybe ahe was just stressed, idk] of the new one, i dont have an impression yet really. I did ask to change a medication and was denied. That's one thing I dont like here, is it used to have a psychiatrist i was with fir over 10 years because she listened to what I thought about the medications and dug deeper. Spent more time. I dont think they schedule me enough time. I only get 30 mins. I have complicated problems that require more time.

My therapist is the coolest woman ive ever known. Her back story, the little i know, is incredible. Stefanie. She is the exact right person for me. I click with her. Shes soft and strong, insightful and caring. And trained in EMDR and CBT that I know of. Shes fantastic. Can't recommend her enough. But dont take my spot i need her LOL. 💗

I am so excited to start therapy again, and the team at Mind Matters has made the transition back extremely easy.

Booking: Finding a provider that meets my needs and specific criteria was super easy with the Geode portal. Once I found a therapist I was interested in, i was able to book my first appointment completely online — super accessible and quick, no phones calls necessary!

Prior to my first session: I was sent a few questionnaires prior to my first session, I was asked to upload my insurance card and a form of payment, and it made me feel very set up for success! By the time I got to their offices, all my information was already organized and easy to retrieve.

The day of my first session: Finding the office was super easy and in a cute spot in Fort Worth. The view is also amazing from the 11th floor, very nice for introspection during sessions. The kind woman at the front desk made me feel welcome and taken care.

My therapist: I met with Lauren Johnston (am I allowed to share that here? I guess she just can’t say who I am right? call me if I need to edit this please😅) and felt very safe right away. Her office is cozy, she is kind and approachable, and really helped me to identify what I’d like to work on during my time with her.

I couldn’t be happier with this entire process, and I can’t wait for my next session in a few weeks!

I have had a great experience with my provider. He is easy to talk to and I always get my medications refilled on time. The whole process has been pretty straight forward and easy to do the appointments via telemedicine

I’m so grateful for Mind Matters, and more specifically my psychiatrist Britney Haymond. I was so nervous early into my appointments, but Britney is so easy to talk to. She is warm, kind and truly listens to you so she can help. I look forward to my appointments with her. And it’s reassuring to know I can share updates, progress and even set backs and know I’m in good hands. She’s someone who you can tell loves to help people.

I received treatment for about 3 years from this office, and my experience has been nothing short of amazing. Every time I was seen, whether in person or on a video call, I was listened to and treated with kindness and respect. Every question was answered in a way I could understand, and everything was explained so I wouldn't have to worry! Office was always clean and decorated, everyone was knowledgeable and they are quick to respond!

The providers are rude, the staff is sarcastic, they are never available to answer phone calls. The receptionist in flower mound have a sarcastic tone. Jacob and Sonya are amazing . Because I didn’t want to conduct my child appointment with the African descent provider and wanted Jacob for my son instead due to Sonya quitting. he discharged my child care. I have been calling for months and no answer
