I think this was my first time at this store last night. And I just can’t hold myself from sharing with others this honest and short review about the showers in this store. I don’t want to talk about the restrooms and how dirty they are. Just never felt this awful taking a shower in a loves truck stop. From the moment I went into my he shower cabinet I felt the terrible smell of sewer in there. I thought maybe it will go away it’s just an old store that’s why. But unfortunately that wasn’t the case and the smell got worse while I was showering. Guys I could go on forever but the whole point of this review is to draw the attention of the owners, people who make billions of profit on the money left behind by the drivers at stores like this. You and we know that there’s plenty of assets to renovate the store at least the shower cabinets and let the people who spend their hard earned money on your stores feel a bit more comfortable and wanna come back.

Avoid this loves travel shop they said the power was down and wouldn't even let a pregnant lady in to use the restroom wow I have IBS and I told the manager I have a medical condition but he said they were closed and wouldn't let me in I can believe this. I was barely able to make it across the street without having an accident. If I didn't make I would have sue this place and that manager funny how there was still light on even tho he calmed the power was down. I also tried reaching corporate but they weren't open yet understandable since they are on a different time zone never stopping here again see pictures below

Cheap gas, and amazing Mexican food trucks!! If you see this one, GET A BURRITO, it was SO delicious! And they make the taco tortillas by hand!

Pretty decent! Staff is Friendly but the facility could definitely use some cleaning! On the other hand it Us Truck Drivers that generally makes the mess outside by the fuel aisles & parking area. Instead of taking time 2 actually throw “Spit” in the trash! It is discarded near or around the can or sometimes Anywhere! When U could definitely find a can that is Not running over & discard it there! We could All use a little exercise so why Not take an Extra Step! Yall make a mess & think that your parents are suppose to magically appear to clean it up! The workers are there to do a Job Not be maids! Be Respectful & mindful of them & U will probably get the same energy! ✌🏿 2 All & Stay Safe!

Quite possibly the worst Loves Travel Stop on the 5 in terms of equipment and general cleanliness. When I first went here is was maybe 2020 and it was nice, I thought. Since then, everytime I’ve stopped here something would be broken or just grimier. The women’s bathroom is atrocious, the tile is all broken, every lock is busted, the toilet seats have tape or some other sh*t on it. Are they clean? Maybe but the over all look of these restrooms looks like seedy back woods truck stop quality, that if the light was flickering would look like a set from a horror movie. The gas pumps rarely have worked with my card or tap pay, something is always wrong with their computer system so it is frequently down. And the computers at the pumps seem to just run slow as dirt. They never have receipt paper in the pumps so it’s always a back and forth inside. The only redeeming quality of this place is the dog park that is rarely taken care of. The poop in the trash can has been stacking here for at least a year. There’s never any dog poop bags. They at least mow it and it’s large to briefly take your dog out. But watch out for poop other terrible people leave for you to step on. I tend to stop here if necessary but I started trying to wait it out to reach Santa Nella or Patterson Loves because those places are significantly nicer. Mind you-none of this is about the staff, they are usually fine and do their jobs but whoever manages the facilities or is responsible for the looks of Loves needs help because the look of this place is low quality. They used to also be at least 10-20 cents cheaper than the cheapest neighboring gas station but now they are mostly on par with the cost. Luckily the app saves 10 cents but it’s still cheaper a couple hours up the 5.

Open 24 hours. Clean restrooms, not as large as I thought they would be. Trucker's facilities, including showers.

We visited on a holiday weekend, just before noon. It was extremely busy. According to a staff member, this was your typical weekend plus some holiday travelers. The gasoline pumps were full of travelers, each pump had at least 2 vehicles waiting. This made the driveway very congested and, apparently, very confusing for some drivers. There was lots of horn blowing.

The refrigerators were well stocked with all manner of beverages. The snacks were abundant. The self service coffee and soda bar was well played out. Self service hot dogs were also available.

The store was just as crowded. Customers filled the isles and the staff at the registers were doing their best to ring-up people quickly so they could get back on the road.

A note for the females: This place can be CROWDED. Keep that in mind if you're thinking about a quick stop to use the restrooms. I've never seen a line as long in any gas station. That's not an exaggeration.

If you can choose to fuel elsewhere... do it! The pumps leak fuel down the hoses. My gloves end up soaked in fuel every time. If you say anything to the employees, they brush you off. The pavement in the fuel islands needs to be redone. The windshield washer poles need to be fixed or replaced. The trash cans are always overflowing. The facilities inside are just as disgusting.

I recently stopped by a Loves Travel Stop, and it was an okay experience. The location was convenient, right off the highway, which made it easy to take a quick break during my road trip. The store had a decent selection of snacks, drinks, and travel essentials, but it felt a little cramped and could use more space for browsing. The restrooms were clean, though not as well-stocked as I’d hoped. Customer service was polite, but the staff seemed a bit busy, so there wasn’t much personal interaction. Overall, it met my needs, but I didn’t find anything particularly exceptional about the stop. It’s a solid option for a quick refuel or restroom break, but not much more than that.
