After the closure of my longtime favorite cafe I thought I’d never stop off again in Los Olivos. I was quite devastated. Luckily I stopped a local on a walk and asked her if there was anywhere in the town just to get coffee she told me about Lefty’s. Made my day!! They’ve been open about 3years... It’s a place with old fashioned character - not a spot of sterile atmosphere.
I’ll be happy to drive off 101 up the winding road to my new favourite place in Los Olivos….. plus the owners have a corgi - although I understand Lefty isn’t there very often as he barks a lot. Well, he has a lot to talk about 🥰

Expansive indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy some workspace and delicious coffee. Close walk to town center (1 block). New! Give it a try!! Bike repair tools available at a cute bike-repair stand/shed thoughtfully facing street side entrance. Great ADA access, parking, ramps, bathroom. Modern electrical outlets everywhere for usb charging and laptops. Books to share/take, a puzzle table with in progress jigsaw puzzle… someone is being very very thoughtful creating this space, bravo!

Lovely coffee shack named after legendary Lefty Frizzell, the first country singer to get a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. He was a big influence on names like Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson. Check out his song “Cigarette and Coffee Blues” while you drink your coffee here. ☕️

A gorgeous cafe that’s very dog-friendly! Beautiful spaces inside and out, including a heavenly back patio with tons of shaded seating. My latte was quite tasty (though a bit light in the foam department). Staff was great and sweet to my pooch. Definitely recommend stopping by when you’re visiting the area!

Super cute place. A small detour from the highway, but los olivos is a great place to visit!
They have books, boardgames, and really good coffee! What else can you ask for?
I had an oat latte, really good, fairly priced. Not bitter or burned tasting. I'm impressed 👍 😁
