My husband waited over 6 months for a motorized wheelchair. He had hope and was really looking forward to being out of bed. His cancer was taking a toll on his body, but he had faith he would be able to get around with his wheelchair. My husband is 6' 4" and has a fixed hip. Laurel Medical gave us so many fabricated excuses for the wait. Finally after giving my husband's Medicare number for the fourth time, I realized what little time my husband had was destroyed both mentally and physically by the fabricated excuses. You could see daily how he had given up hope of getting out of bed. I will never recommend a company that would extend false hope to its clients.

Definitely go elsewhere for your DME. Not sure if the staff is really that incompetent, or just lazy. They have not been able to get one thing right from the get go. My step-daughter is stuck in out-grown equipment now due to their inability to follow directions. It seems like they have never dealt with insurance companies before, it's really unbelievable.

In 2009 I went through Laurel for my custom lightweight wheelchair, as my first lightweight manual wheelchair. The order was completely messed up, and I finally contacted the owner about the issues. He fixed the issues, and made it right.
Because I thought perhaps another medical supply company could be better, I went to another local provider for my next wheelchair. That experience was even worse, and the company made it hard to work with them. It was a miserable 5 years dealing with that company, and when I needed a repair, they would take FOREVER to fix it.
In 2018, I decided to go back to Laurel because at least they had a soul and fixed their mistakes. This time, going through the whole process from start to finish with laurel was SO much better. Matt was my ATP and listened to my needs. When I had questions or concerned, he made sure to ease my worries. He ended up double checking measurements for me, and kept me posted on the whole process. Once the chair was ordered, he realized something I wanted wasn't possible without compromising something else. He called me quickly to tell me the dilemma and we went back and forth on the best solution. He quickly delivered my wheelchair for me, and made sure it fit comfortably before he left.
Since then, anything I need Laurel is quick to deliver. I have needed a new back, new tires, and new push rims on my chair and they made sure to get those things taken care of quickly.
I am heavily involved in the disability community, and run two non-profit organizations. When I had a big event for one of them, Ms. Wheelchair Pennsylvania Conference & Competition in October 2019... Laurel made a generous donation and their staff also volunteered their time to help make the event possible.
I would recommend Laurel Medical Solutions to anyone. If you had any issues in the past with Laurel, like I did... I would recommend to give them another chance. They have obviously worked to become better and more customer service oriented. If you have any issues, don't be scared to speak up because chances are they will do their best to fix the problems!

I was in need of a new lift chair, and I am so happy that I chose Laurel Medical Solutions. Jessica took her time and helped my find all the options I was looking for in a chair. She was so understanding and helpful. Dave and Kasey delivered my chair this morning, and they get an A+ from me. They were efficient without being rushed. They were so friendly and placed the chair exactly where I wanted it and went through all the controls on the remote with me. A BIG thank you to Jessica, Dave and Kasey!

Bill Miller was amazing! I love working with Laurel Medical! They are easy to get in touch with and have fast service. I had a wheelchair ramp installed within a day! I called to get a quote on a hoyer lift system and Bill was out within a few days to do measurements. Thank you for all that you have done for my family over the last 12 years!

We were in need of a wheelchair ramp, and after many phone calls we found Laurel Medical Solutions... They have made this process so easy.... the other places I have called either don't return calls or don't offer wheelchair ramps...but Bill Miller showed up and told me what was available. . We used his years of experience and let him do his thing... he changed our original idea and we are so glad we did. The ramp was installed and has made our life so much easier....

Laura Medical has served my late husband and myself through many rough times. They have always been reliable and professional wheather setting up equipment or repairing and replacing parts. Today I bought a scooter and Jessica McMullen showed me how to take it apart for traveling and easy lifting. She also helped with loading it in my car. She was extremely pleasant and polite.

I've been waiting for quite some time for my lift chair before I found Laurel medical solutions They really were a solution for me Jessica was awesome she had my chair ordered right away and when I got it I was so pleased if I would have known she would make it so easy I would have went there first the guys that delivered my chair were great too although I don't remember their names great service wonderful chair I'm so happy thanks so much Laurel medical. PS just to let you know just talking to Laurel she was able to get my measurements down pat it's the first recliner that I've ever been able to sit comfortably in Yahoo
