Finally found my spot. One of the best burritos I've ever had, better than any burrito I've ever had in Los Angeles. It was super hefty and I was very full after, came with beans and onions. And two salsas. You can take it to go or eat inside or outside at the little bar or outside the tables, three different places to eat your food. Super fast. Super cost effective and incredible quality. I'll be coming back!!! Oh and finally a place that has actually super hot peppers, that green pepper was incredibly hot but I love hot food so if you don't maybe don't eat it LOL.

For what this is, where it is, and price paid, I would recommend. This is an unusual place to find it, but the food is good genuine Mexican food. Store has exactly what you would expect to find in a Mexican market, food was good, had better, but likely best authentic tacos in Mammoth Lakes. Staff were friendly, location was interesting. Hope to return in the future. Not a lot of parking, some places to eat at the shop.

Came here for some Mexican food. It is very closed to where I stay, and I was able to walk over. There is a small parking lot available. Staff was very friendly. It is a small grocery store that also serves hot food. I am surprised that the groceries are not overpriced! Price for food is also reasonable. I ordered a carne asada torta, and a breakfast burrito. Both items were well prepared and tasty! The meat was not overcooked, and it was tender! If you are in the area and want some home cooked meal, this would be the place! There were some tables and benches outside for outdoor dining.

This is the place to come in Mammoth Lakes! They got it all and the food is amazing! During my stay I came here for their tacos twice. They have fresh fruit that you can put lime and tajin on. I am coming back again in a week because the food is just that good and such reasonable prices compared to the local restaurants.

DELICIOUS tacos among other menu selections. If you're looking for a quick, delicious and affordable meal in Mammoth Lakes, this place is a must. There is a small shelter area that blocks the wind and cold where you can sit and eat your meal but it is very, very casual. Provecho!

I've lived in East L.A. my entire life and never would I have thought that there would be really really good Mexican food in mammoth. Wow! Amazing, authentic, and so so tasty! I didn't get a picture of the menu cuz it was kinda weird taking it right over the worker. The store is small with Latin foods stacked. You walk in the door and hear the workers singing in the back. Seems like they really enjoy their jobs. 😁 Super nice ppl. Once you order, take your food outside at their picnic area to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Or if it's too cold, they have an enclosed eating bar area right outside the front door. Go here for some amazing authentic food! You won't be disappointed! I forgot to mention that their prices are really reasonable for the area.

UPDATE: correction, they do have a small indoor eating space hidden in the back next to kitchen that I missed the first time. Added Pic of the space along with a pic of the menu. Super nice ppl there!

One of the more affordable Mexican food spots in the area. It’s mostly to-go but worth it. Lengua is good! So are the Cali tacos and Sopes. They don’t have Pastor but do have marinated beef instead.

Found this location on Yelp and knew we had to find it. Even after seeing the great ratings, we pulled up and were a little bit unsure if we were in the right place - this is definitely not what I would expect for the typical atmosphere of the Mammoth Lakes area. What we found was a market attached to an apartment building and it was busy! Trucks of construction workers and lots of locals told us we were in the right place! We are taco truck people at least one time a week, and this place was so over the top good - we went twice in the same day!!! Prices were so affordable, a great find in an area that had somewhat pricey dining out options. We visited several times and tried many things on the menu and were never disappointed! There is a toppings bar so you customize your street tacos just the way you like them. Outside seating for dining there or grab take out to enjoy in many of the outdoor spaces in Mammoth. This place will be on our list for future trips for sure!
