The store needs an improvement in Muti areas: freshness in produce-all avocados are nearly rotten prices are high in understanding the wind is affecting the delivery. The marked down items are expired too long ago. I don’t think it’s safe to use.

But among of those the worst is the manager like person who was unfriendly when I was there around 1 pm today 1/9/25 Thursday.
She was by the right side office like area doing something but didn’t look busy at all while the new cashier was taking care of checking out customers in long line by herself in entire store. When customers and the cashier herself had questions about the products in store, finally the one by the office came around and gave the coldest direction to find the salad dressing. She pointed at the isle and said “straight ahead there” without a smile, walking with customer instead, told the cashier to go in the middle of checkout.
I was there to get price adjustment for 75% off items which I regret now since the new cashier didn’t know they were on sale. The manager looked like person told me “ you need to tell the cashier the sale items” again with the coldest facial expression that made me feel like I did terrible thing and she was sick of me.
I like the market but super negative energy is there that definitely I don’t want to shop there for a while.

I have to give this place four stars for a number of reasons. I’ve been coming here for ten years now and prices have just gotten out of control. $9 for a box a gluten free cereal is just absurd. The selection of foods and snacks has also dwindled in the aisles. Produce quality has also managed to decline since I first started shopping here. Apart from that this is a decent place to shop if you’re looking for vegetarian or vegan alternatives for cooking, and they have a vast array of supplements and vitamins in their health section.
Students receive 5% off with student ID every day except Wednesdays when they get 15% off!

La Sierra is awesome for bulk goods, plant-based meats, frozen meals, and lots of specialty vegan items that are hard to find elsewhere. Their produce section is not very good, so this is not a one-stop grocery store. Still, I like to go here once a month to stock up on things I can't get elsewhere in West Riverside. They have a particularly great plant-based meat section, with bulk amounts available in the very large freezer section along the back wall. I've discovered some new yummy protein foods here which have made home cooked meals much easier and tastier!

I love this place. There are so many natural and healthy selections. Also, items that are hard to find elswhere. The staff is very helpful and friendly as well.

I did purchase a few things like Earth coffee, I love coffee but this brand is a big not again 😶

La Sierra natural food store is the only grocery store I’ve ever went to with the most vegan meat options. I remember when I first came here as a vegan and couldn’t believe all the different choices to choose from. The restaurant they have attached to the grocery store is delicious as well. Lastly, you can order rice and beans in bulk. I always appreciated that wether being vegan or not. I wish I still lived closer. I would go here more often.
