I am baffled at this score. Dr.Pizarro is amazing. He takes time to explain everything thoroughly and ensure understanding. Also, he asks your opinions. He wants the patient involved. He has a sweet demeanor and great bedside manner.
His nurse handles every single thing asked of her and has a wonderful, helpful attitude. She fights for the patient to get things accomplished quickly.
The front desk staff has been sweet and great everytime I have spoken with them. They follow HIPAA protocol to ensure it is I calling and make sure my messages are passed on. I've enjoyed everyone I've come into contact with in the office and on the phone. I've been coming here for 2 years and because of their encouragement I'm making changes for the better in my life. They truly care for you as a person. <3

I Do Not Recommend this Practice and am Very Close to Reporting to the Medical Board. Clearly overwhelmed by volume of patients and unqualified staff. Consistently fail to return any calls...Whether related to scheduling, follow-up to treatment, or billing. Doctor cancelled appointments with short notice on several occasions. All to be Rescheduled for nearly 2 months out and cancel again!! Too many Empty promises to contact my family to reschedule...Still Waiting for the Call.

An indictment on the modern medical industry. A Doctor that knows how to practice medicine but not run a business. Tried to address these issues with Office Manager and Doctor and was dismissed. I give you fair warning...Put your health (and healthcare dollars) in someone else's hands.

I highly recommend Dr. Otero and his staff. The staff worked hard getting me a next day appointment, due to severe issues and pain. They were pleasant and responsible. The Dr. spent time with me, he was not rushed. He was caring and ordered tests to ensure he had the entire picture.

Several years ago, I suffered severe damage from an epidural and a Facet nerve block that went wrong and left me in such severe pain I could do nothing other than lay writhing in agnony on my bed. In addition, I had other severe symptoms that were relentless.
After several doctors apologized, saying there was nothing they could do, I went to Dr. Piazrro, my husband's neurologist and In one visit, he had me pain free.
It was a severe loss to me, my husband and many others, I am sure, when he left Tampa,.

Do yourself a favor and find another doctor. I made an appointment 2 months in advance, arrived on time, and after waiting 20 minutes in the lobby was told that the 2 people who were taken back just in front of me were new patients, which take longer and my wait would be another 2 hours. Unbelievably unprofessional. I left and will never be back. But with 2 month waiting list, I'm sure they couldn't care less.

What a joke! Called to set an appointment for a specific procedure. Scheduled in Feb, appointment was end of April. Arrived 15 minutes early with paperwork already filled out.. Appointment was at 2, was finally called back at 2:40 only to find that I need to see a surgeon. Front desk has NO CLUE what their doctors do. Beware they will waste your time while they all sit up front chit chatting.. sounded like a HS cafeteria. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR JOB

Best neurologist that specializes in patients with MS. Him and his nurse, Samantha are the best TEAM ever. I thank them for everything they have done for me. The wait is totally worth it. Never leaving them!
