Dr. Barrow performed a tubal ligation surgery in April of 2022 for me. He had told me in the consultation visit that it would be "an act of God" if I were to get pregnant. In July of 2022, I found out that I was pregnant. The OB I chose for prenatal care was very cautious on explaining how this happened - they said that even if a spore was left, the tubes could regrow. My questions are: 1) how did this regrow in such a short amount of time?; and 2) why wasn't the new practice of removing the tubes entirely performed? I feel as if my pregnancy was more of negligence than an "act of God".

Please be cautious when using Barrow. I have heard from the OB who provided prenatal care that this was not the first case of this happening, with the same surgeon.

Just had to have a surgery to remove a migrated iud that dr burrows told me I lost almost 12 yrs ago. It was encased on intestines and scratching stomach sac. Lucky enough due to the fluid it was causing on my hips and the pain a bone and joint dr accidently found it in an xray. But do to the time span he had said I lost it to know he is safe due to statue of limitation. If he has ever said you lost your iud I'd ask for CT scan..

Dr. Barrow is a great doctor! I went to him my whole pregnancy with my son. I’m a young mom and he made me feel comfortable and he always reassured me. I have HORRIBLE medical anxiety and he or his nurses didn’t ever make me feel crazy for calling atleast once a week lol. He is never “mean” but he is very Direct and will tell you how it is! Don’t ever say “I can’t do this” because he will tell you “to bad, PUSH!” ?Also did a GREAT job at my epidural I didn’t feel him put it in at all. he’s a funny guy and great doctor. I trust him 100% he delivered me and now he has delivered my first son. I also recently went to him for some issues and he told me I was going to miscarry. He told me there was no way to make it ok and he was sorry and gave me medicine to get through it. For being a man he is very sympathetic! He actually listens to what’s going on and dosnt blow you off. I wish more young women went to him he is hands down the #1 obgyn around mountain home. I’ve been to the other ones… don’t recommend! I do recommend Dr.B! The only issue I ever had was one time at the end of my pregnancy I was in the bathroom and I heard one of the nurses talking about me to a couple other nurses saying “I was pregnant and I was like 12” and a couple other things. I do look very young but I was 18 not 12! Kinda hurt my feelings?‍♀️ Dr.B however had no part in it!

Dr.barrow was the worst dr I’ve ever dealt with. As far as doing surgeries I’m sure he’s good but he should not be allowed to speak with patients. After he did my ectopic surgery 3 years ago, I met back after a week to let him know i couldn’t go back to work my stitches ripped over and over again anytime I moved & I wasn’t emotionally capable of facing reality. His words were “you never even saw your baby get over it” & “stop crying in bed eating Cheetos if it were my boys I would be sending them back to school or work”. I wasn’t crying in bed eating Cheetos (if I were who cares). He loved his own voice, wouldn’t let me or my mom get a word in. His words are my living nightmare.

No way would i ever ever go here again. You never know who your OB is until you’re giving birth. Dr. Barrow was extremely harsh and judgemental about my vbac and I needed surgery after it! Dr. Barrow laughed and scoffed saying my vbac barely worked like who says that?! He also didn’t even help me the first day, I had to have 5 blood transfusions THEN surgery finally after his incompetence. He literally treated me that way cuz he didn’t want me to have a vbac or natural birth(weird! And I’m not at risk either)I wish we had more options in this area. You’d even be better off birthing at home and never letting this crazy guy touch your newborn baby or your body. He is a horrid OB
