Got an expired sauce. Came back with the item unopened to see if they'd give a refund or replacement but refused to neither, saying it's nonrefundable!!

Great selection of nostalgic Chinese snacks. It's a small shop, but it also carries some essential sauces for Chinese dishes and a lot of interesting frozen foods for hotpot night, etc.

Update: they expanded and renovated their store and it's a lot bigger now.

This stupid store sells expired products. I came back hoping they’ll have some sort of refunds or compensation, but the cashier claimed that it is not technically “expired”, which is still good to eat. Excellent business practices😃

A hidden gem in davis. Small and narrow corridors, but it has many many Japanese products (mainly food and drinks, but also frozen stuff and cooking materials) at a fair price. The environment is nice and the staff friendly. Highly recommended.

Neat little store for Asian snacks. BUT, many of the snacks are "Made in China." So buyer beware if you're concerned about food safety and if you have doubts whether there's melamine or some other additive.
