Disaster experience with weekly pool service over a span of several years. Was billed repeatedly when technicians weren’t even showing up. Pool was bright green when I let them go, and billing staff yelled at me on the phone. Maybe you’ll have better luck with them!

I've had a pool for 37 years and normally don't go to Herbs since I live in Novato. After refilling my pool I needed it tested and chemicals replenished. After testing they recommended about $150 in chemicals which I purchased. After I got home I realized I already had one of the chemicals I bought. The next day I came back to the same sales person who said no problem on the return until the manager said "NO RETURN OF ANY CHEMICALS." He didn't care that this small $20
unopened bag that i bought 24 hours ago. He said it's posted all over the store. He directed me to several locations in the store and sure enough nothing in print about returning chemicals, except for in small print on the receipt.
(I believe they now added it)
I called my favorite pool store Don Johnson's in Novato and they informed me they’d be happy to return unopened chemicals. If you want good customer service I wouldn’t recommend Herbs.

Pretty good prices, but man, if you buy chlorine make sure you tighten the lid on it before putting it in your car. You'd think a bucket full of chemicals would have the lid tightened on it already, with something of a child-safety lock lid that is properly sealed and purposely difficult to open. NOPE. It spilled all over and my car now smells like a pool store. Triple check the lid before you put it in you car.

Big shout out to Barron for his help on my Aqualink today. Had some issues that the outfit, who will remain nameless, that installed the unit couldn't figure out and then simply decided they couldn't be bothered to fix and Barron from Herb's identified the issue in less than 10 mins and had it fixed in under an hour. Needless to say I now have a new pool service for any issues with my system in the future. Thanks Herb's and a huge thank you to Barron! Much appreciated!!

Herbs Pool Service has the best, friendliest and most knowledgeable crew period, forget Leslie's. I've been getting my chemicals and pool equipment from them for years, fair and competitive prices. Rick from the service department recently solved a pesky networking issue with my Pentair system at a very reasonable rate, customer for life.

Worst experience to date I have ever had. System sold to me has not worked since it was installed Took months of waiting . Then service has been delayed. Cheap lousy system that Dow t work for more than a day . Was told it would work like my lad system m but it is a bad system doesn’t heat and keys are no working. . I was told the kids took it over and it has gone downhill asked yo talk to an owner but never get anyone. They aren’t working today. ?

Herbs Pool Service is terrific. All the people who work here are helpful and knowledgeable. They diagnosed our hot tub water and gave the instructions on how to balance it for free.
