I've been getting acupuncture for chronic low back pain and the results have been amazing. Cara is a great combination of down-to-earth and professional, and she was very detailed and thorough in her intake. She took plenty of time to explain to me how acupuncture and cupping works from both an Eastern and Western perspective and answered all of the questions that I had. She expressed the importance of coming in regularly for treatments, especially in the beginning, in order to make a shift in my pain level as quickly possible. I've been seeing her weekly for about 4 weeks and I already feel so much better. Cara also recommended getting massages in addition to acupuncture, so I've been doing that too and the massages have been great. The clinic has a really cool and relaxing vibe and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Also, it must be mentioned that they accept my insurance, which is awesome. If you're looking for an acupuncturist or massage therapist, I definitely recommend going here!

I saw Cara Jolly for my first acupuncture treatment ever and it was a really awesome experience. I’ve been having sciatic nerve pain off and on for years and nothing has really helped me feel better, so I thought I’d finally give acupuncture a try. To my surprise, I felt immediate relief after just one treatment and now I can’t believe I waited so long to try it! Cara took a lot of time to go over my health concerns, which was really nice because I didn’t feel rushed at all unlike most doctor experiences I’ve had in the past. She also explained acupuncture to me in a way that was very easy to understand because I really had no idea how it works. Before the treatment, she was very honest and said she did not know how long it would take for me to get pain relief because every patient’s body is so different. She said that acupuncture works best with regular and consistent treatment and that the treatments have a cumulative effect on the body. Luckily for me, I felt results right away!
Also, I have to admit I’m a bit scared of needles, but Cara put me at ease because she was so communicative in her approach. In order to help me relax during the treatment she had me do some breath-work when she was inserting the needles and it really helped me chill out. At the end of the treatment she also did some cupping on my back and leg and rubbed a really nice smelling peppermint and cinnamon herbal oil on my skin to help relax my muscles and relieve pain.
An added bonus is that her office is super cool and calming and the treatment rooms were really comfortable. The table was nice and warm and the sheet on the bed was so soft. The music was great too. I’m really happy I got over my fear of needles and I can’t wait to get more treatments.

Her office is lovely, has a great atmosphere, and the mural in the meditation room is incredibly beautiful. The staff is warm and welcoming. Could not recommend more!

Cara is an outstanding acupuncturist. Her space is wonderful, she has great energy, and she really cares about your experience. I saw her for persistent neck pain, and I was significant improved after my course of treatment. When I was recently in LA, I saw Cara Jolly for a series of acupuncture treatments for back pain and to strengthen my immune system, and I have to say she is amazing. Her style of needling is really effective and powerful. She’s extremely personable and friendly and she puts you at ease immediately. Acupuncture and cupping really help to relieve tension in my back like nothing else I’ve tried, and an added bonus is that I used to be prone to catching colds easily, but when I started getting treatments on a weekly basis my immune system got much stronger and now I rarely get sick. One of the other things you’ll notice is that Cara’s office has a great atmosphere. You can tell she put a lot of effort into making the environment feel good from the moment you walk in the door. Everybody who works there was really nice and helpful too. If you’re in LA you should definitely go see Cara. She’s one of the best.

Cara and her team are freakin fantastic! They're the most professional, caring and knowledgable team of acupuncture practitioners and massage therapists out there. Most of the time these days, taking care of yourself on a consistent basis can become costly. Since she accepts most insurance plans, it really helps to allow someone to be able to enjoy the healing powers of acupuncture, massage, yoga and much more that they offer. My body overall feels so much better from various treatments I've had and will continue to go weekly to maintain overall wellness in my body.

Cara and the entire wellness center staff are very warm and helpful; always ready and willing to answer any questions and accommodate your needs as best they can. Excellent communication via e-mail/phone/text, with quick responses to appointment, session-specific and general questions. On top of that, GenerateShen accepts most insurances and works diligently with them to keep things on your end no-fuss and hassle free.

Cara is personable and professional, combining a welcoming attitude with a wealth of knowledge and exceptional attention to detail. She is very precise with questions to see how you are doing physically and mentally since your last session - or how you are doing in general/what goals you might have if it is your first visit. It's great to have these honest moments as it is further evidence of how much she cares, plus it demonstrates how any given treatment is going to be tailored to you and your needs.

Sessions are exactly as relaxing as you would hope - appropriate background music to help you focus and help drown out any outside noise (which has never been a problem during my visits) and no interruptions save for one check in to make sure you're comfortable and/or to place additional needles.

Cara Jolly is excellent (and I have seen many acupuncturists). When I first came to Cara I was struggling with anxiety and constant headaches.
