My sister and I were shopping and she stepped into this shoe store without me. They asked her her age (she's 20, not that there's a right or wrong age to buy shoes) and refused to give her the shoes she asked for. They would come out, offer her a shoe and then take it back and ignore her. When I walked in, suddenly the shoes they "didn't have" were instantly handed to her.... really rude and unprofessional. Also, the same woman who "helped us" was beyond rude about the rewards program.

11/24 update: It's great to see that this store is still doing a great job with customer service. In two recent visits, salesman Kevin was patient, helpful, and knowledgeable without ever being pushy. He recommended insoles that greatly reduced the arch pain I've been ignoring for a couple of years--kudos, especially since I hadn't planned on purchasing anything that day!

Original post (2021): Salesperson was knowledgeable and friendly, and she steered me to exactly what I wanted. I appreciated the store being open a bit later (until 6 pm), too.

I want to thank Ribka Adera. Unfortunately, Footwear etc. in Los Altos did not have the slippers I wanted in my size. Also, , they were discontinued, so my size would not be available at Footwear etc. Ribka recommended that I search for them in a size 9, and the style Gemma. I found them and they fit perfectly. Too bad you didn't have them there, but I have them now! Thanks to Ribka.

I went into the Los Altos store yesterday with my $20 reward certificate in hand. Kevin immediately welcomed me upon my arrival and was right near anytime I had a question. I noticed that the inventory of handbags had been expanded and that some clothing options are also now available. During checkout, Kevin noticed that I had an additional $15 unused certificate in my account which he then added to my $20 one. The staff is definitely great and it’s so nice to see Kevin there year after year. We are so fortunate to have such a high quality shoe store to purchase our shoes from! I even found two pairs of shoes this past summer for my daughter’s wedding!

Just purchased 3 pairs of shoes after trying on many, many more. The man who helped me was great (sorry I don't know his name)! He was very patient, and made excellent suggestions when I wasn't finding the kind of shoe or sandal I was looking for. Great store!

My wife, son, and I stopped by on Sunday afternoon and Aaron greeted us. He was very kind and listened to all our questions and provided us with helpful recommendations. He measured our feet and brought out multiple different sizes on the shoes to see which fit best. We all decided on the Hoka brand and really appreciated Aaron's help. We will definitely return here in the future.

This business operates as a scam. I received a faulty pair of “shoes”, which I told I had to order online because apparently the manager can’t stock up appropriately. The worst part is it’s been weeks and they are yet to compensate or replace them. All my calls are going to voicemail as well; refrain from this repulsive scheme at all costs.

Kevin W. is the man! I walked in with a weird shoe problem and after a few diagnostic questions Kevin had me at the wall looking at replacement shoes. Adjustment Qs this and that to fine tune what my want is -- then he walks back with shoes and does the fit and rings them up. I was out the door in 25 minutes total.

Lesson: Walk in shoes and listen for weird noise before you buy them: every, single, time.

Lesson 2: The replacement shoes weren't fitted correctly, they are 'wide' which I had no idea what that meant but it means they have a huge toe area -- Im not returning them again but lesson is this store isn't exactly good at fitting.
