Oh my goodness! We contacted this bakeshop to ask for help on which of the two baked goods (summer ? cake or old fashioned ? cobbler)we are wanting to go for first for seasonality purposes. We ended up getting the old fashioned peach cobbler and OH MY! It is so incredibly tasty! The peaches are so sweet and perfect and the cobbler topping is crumbly and delicious! I thought I’d place my order and it would be ready in a week or something, but no! We were able to pick up the next day and just after it had cooled fresh from the oven! Communication was great through the whole process! I will be ordering again very soon and I highly recommend this bakeshop!

Absolutely amazing!!! I ordered strawberry cake and peach pie for a party and everyone loved them! Beautiful, delicious and very high quality! Susan is a fantastic baker with wonderful customer service, I’ll definitely be back!
Best of all, having the strawberry cake gave me a feeling of being home in Germany where coffee and cake is the „most important“ meal of the day ?❤️
UPDATE: For Thanksgiving I ordered the vegan Apple Crisp - it is the tastiest „apple pie“ ever!!! Whether you’re vegan or not, you must try it!

Everything I’ve had from the Fika Bakeshop has been amazing. The menu changes with the seasons and availability of fresh ingredients. The scones are perfect, the sticky chocolate cake is heavenly, and the summer strawberry cake is quite literally the best cake I’ve ever eaten. I’m sure I’ll have as much to say about more menu items as I continue to treat myself with more goodies. To top it all off, Susan is very friendly and welcoming. She bakes out of her home and has all the proper health inspections and certifications for her home kitchen. Come support a local business, you won’t be disappointed. What a fantastic resource for the San Lorenzo Valley! Seasonal menus have a mix of old favorites and Scandinavian specialty bakes. We recently got a half-dozen semlor, and they were amazing! You need to plan your order ahead, but pick-up is easy and right near downtown Ben Lomond. Keep an eye open for pop-up locations in Santa Cruz, too.
These are truly hand-crafted, but professional baked goods made with care. Highly reccomended!

This little pop up is an incredible treat for our community. The baked goods are delicious, and wonderfully unique. From cardamom buns to chocolate raspberry cake, to savory scones, there is something for everyone! Susan, the baker, is incredibly welcoming and kind, and you can tell she truly loves to bake. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a special Swedish treat. You can also order online through email.

Simply put, Fika Bakery makes the most delicious and unique cookies and scones. I never would have said that sugar cookies were high on my list but Fika makes wonderful ones that have changed my mind.  I tried the Chewy Sugar, Chai Spice, and Coffee Cardamom. They all had the perfect texture--lightly crispy edges--and a nice chew factor,  and all with excellent flavor. I also had a Jalapeno Cheese Scone and my friend had an Herb Cheese Scone; both were excellent.
