Neutral rating should be carefully considered as this is a fairly wide spread issue that people sign away without noticing until a problem arises. Can't comment on performance as I was refused treatment as I wouldn't sign a release of liability that appeared to me to release all liability no matter if permanent paralysis resulted from an improper treatment. Maybe the doctor should seek a different malpractice insurance or just do without any insurance to lower costs & increase profit if he can't be sued anyway? Maybe I just don't like supporting crooked insurance companies increasing the cost of medical? He seems like a great doctor that is knowledgeable of his practice but this is ridiculous that insurance companies are becoming middle men to steal our money without even absorbing the risk they get paid to absorb. Should be illegal for any insurance company to require the forced signature of such a document! It's my belief that them requiring this should stop them from identifying as an insurance company as they can't meet the definition of insurance if they aren't absorbing risk. It's been a while since this happened & maybe things have changed but doubt it.
