The bathroom is so gross here… it stinks so bad and there was urine and feces and trash everywhere. The bathrooms are so dark too. You’d think somewhere that charges a million dollars for groceries could clean the bathrooms.. it makes me nervous for how they keep the back house cleaned if this is how they keep the public areas.

The provide was organized precisely.

Wanted to get a reusable grocery back but they were like $160. I get the groceries being expensive for high quality food, but a reusable grocery bag Come on…

I got a meal with my mom—a salmon piece with two sides. A total of $30 per meal. The food was no different or fresher or sustainable from, say, the food bar at Whole Foods where I could get at least two pounds of food for the same price. To make matters worse, each cutlery was wrapped in plastic. We have a huge plastics and microplastics problem/crisis and Erewhon chooses to use plastic?! I’m honestly confused about what Erewhon stands for. At this point is just luxury. No regard for the environment or at least not a priority. Very disappointing.

We gave this place a shot based on the hype and the Erewhon grocery store does live up to the hype (well sort of). We got the Hailey Bieber smoothie and it was really tasty and full of flavor. It's definitely something I would get again IF it wasn't $20! It's seriously a crime to charge that much on a simple drink.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere was average. It felt like a grocery store but the presentation of items was on another level. Items were stacked nicely and neatly in a very particular way. This made the experience feel more "expensive" I guess?
Service: The service was standard, nothing special. If you're going to be charging an outrageous amount, I would expect better service to go along with that. For instance, my smoothie was dripping on the outside and wasn't cleaned up. Jamba Juice even cleans the cups before giving them to you.
Overall, if you want to FEEL "bougie" then sure, go here. You'll probably be broke within the month but don't say I didn't warn you (: great tasting food but way overpriced and a bit overhyped in my opinion.

I recently visited Erewhon, and it’s hands down the best grocery store I’ve ever been to! Coming from Australia, where we don’t have a huge variety of grocery outlets, I found myself wishing we had something like this back home. The selection and quality were phenomenal. While it is a bit on the expensive side, the quality more than makes up for it. I tried a smoothie on my first visit — the Malibu Mango, I believe — and it was so delicious that I had to come back the next day for another one. Highly recommend!

Came because my teenage daughter has been insisting on getting the Hailey Bieber drink for the past year. I figured we’ll give this ridiculousness a try. Upon walking in, I already know I’ll be broke just buy sniffing the air in this place. Ever seen YOU on Netflix It basically gave me the vibes of the fancy grocery store they had in one of their seasons.

Anyhow, ended up ordering the Biebs and Malibu Mango because Carpenter was limited and gone for the time being.

After waiting 25 minutes we finally got our $40 smoothies. Pretty? Sure … Tasty? Sure … Best ever? Not so sure.

The poor star reviews is mainly due to their poor service for cost. At $20 a smoothie I basically expected to be treated like royalty. However, after asking about the long awaited drinks twice, turns out our tickets were dropped and drinks were never made. Understanding this as their fault (especially when I did timed it for a 25 min wait), no extra apologies were offered. Shoot, at least throw me a free cookie on the house.

We also tried the $10 / slice appie pie; it’s no better than anything else you’ve had. I’d still go with Costco’s.

and now we know & can judge for ourselves…unnecessarily overpriced and once and done.

Stopped by to grab a smoothie and was surprised to see the full blown grocery store. Cecilia was a wonderful host who helped us with our order.

We ordered the Hailey Bieber’s strawberry glaze and after about 10 minutes or more of wait ( not complaining, as we got to go around the store) we got the smoothie. It tasted very fresh, rich and definitely needed the time it took to prepare it for it to come out such amazing.

Absolute recommendation if you are around town!!!

As a Brit this place was hilarious to me. I went because I had to see if the TikTok’s were exaggerating what it was like inside. The ready to eat hot food was very tasty but the smoothies are super overpriced and are just really well marketed. All in all a very strange American experience.
