This is a recent update! 9/9/24
Again El Monte Pharmacy has me running around due to non- communication. Not only did I go over there for nothing, but the one I spoke to in the morning said it was ready. I asked her to make sure. She then said you're right its not. However, we will start working on it now. I said thank you! I will be there within the hour. She said alright! I get there and of course it's not ready and then they say they won't have the medication until after 3 or 4pm? Are you kidding me! I'm so over this and tired of the runaround and of their apology after apology. Im seriously looking for another Pharmacy!!

~El Monte pharmacy on has been dropping the ball alot more lately. There are staff that are friendly and very helpful like Brittney. She goes above and beyond. However, there are other's that don't do their job. I've have problems quite some time when it comes to refills. I call for refill they'll tell me it'll be ready in few hours. I go to pick up and they'll say "oh we were unable to fill needs the Dr to do a new script. I'm frustrated, because they could have told me this before driving over there wasting my time and gas. Mind you this has happened way too too many times now! That's why I've decided to post this review.~

As I went in to pick up the prescription I had been waiting on. One of the pharmacy tech's asked if I can hold on, because the manager would like to speak with me.
She was truly upset at the whole situation. She apologized and asked what can they do on their part to remedy this. They do not want to lose a long time customer and they especially don't want this happening to me or anyone even again. I was grateful they took the time to apologize and made me feel appreciated and valued as a customer.

Again, I thank you El Monte Pharmacy for taking the time to remedy this!

It is okay but I dropped off four different prescriptions this morning after being in the hospital yesterday and asked for them to be delivered today as it was urgent I start the antibiotic regime,the pharmacist said that would be fine. Yet I never received my medication or a phone call and they are closed already as well as tomorrow.

I've been going to E.M.P. for years now with all my Prescriptions. The staff is very nice and courteous. They have free delivery which really helps out when I'm not able to go in. On top of all that I've met some very kind friends there. It's nice to go in where people know you.
