I’ve been seeing Dr. Taitt for years now. Like everyone else has said, he is probably the smartest man I’ve ever come to know. He has this encyclopedia of knowledge that he can recite at the drop of hat, that somehow applies to your situation. I’ve seen many psychiatrists over the years and he’s the ONLY one who actually listens to me, asks about my life, encourages me, gives me literary recommendations, etc. Every other psychiatrist just wants to ask my moods and give me more pills and send me on my way after 15 mins. Dr. Taitt is empathetic, which is a breathe of fresh air in this field.

Dr. Tait is great! I have been a patient of his for years and each time I need someone to talk to I pay him a visit. He is so easy to talk with and very understanding. It was easy to open up with him and he guided me through some of the hardest times of my life.

I highly recommend him as well as for several of my friends who have needed a little help to deal with the challenges that life brings us.

Dr. Taitt is the most knowledgeable and well-read doctors I've EVER met. I'm convinced he is a genius. I consider myself decently well-read, but I've never walked away from an appointment with him not knowing more about myself or the world around me. He is a walking encyclopedia. More importantly, he is incredibly dedicated to his patients. You have to want to get better and put in the work. In fact, six years ago, that was the first question he asked me ("Do you want to get better?"). If the answer is no, there is nothing even a talented doc like Dr. Taitt can do. If you want to get better, he will help you. My life is appreciably better across the board because of Dr. Taitt. I'm not sure where I'd be right now without Dr. Taitt's medical intervention. If you see him, trust him (he is board certified--and knows what he is doing). Some of the recommendations might seem strange at first (e.g., read Shakespeare), but there is a reason for everything he recommends or says to you. And don't expect a "one and done." Re-wiring your brain and your thought process takes a lot of time. But stick with him, there are pearls of wisdom in every thing he says to you. Best doc I've ever seen/had in my 5-6 decades on this earth. Highly recommend! 100%

Excellent psychiatrist with an incredible font of knowledge not only about his field but of history and literature as well. Can pull an anecdote at a second's notice that is directly relevant to your situation and tailor his counsel to your personal needs through that. Common sense and a mastery of his field rather than jargon and platitudes. Didn't think I'd find a provider I can easily communicate with on the same intellectual level. Kind and understanding, and no judgement. Well worth a call or referral.
