Avoid this Dr. and this office. I put one star only because you couldn't post without it.
I would post a minus 5 star.
Had a colonoscopy there and the prep nurse unknowingly missed my vein , they wheeled me into the procedure room, the anesthesiologist started to pump me full of meds so I wouldn't be awake for the procedure, they did not work because the IV was not in the vein, yet he continued to use more medication rather than check the IV.
He continued to fill me with more drugs while Dr. Vangara continued with the colonoscopy, fully knowing that I was awake, in pain and very uncomfortable. He had 22 procedures that day and couldn't be bothered with such minor details.
Finished the entire procedure without meds, I don't recommend it.
They wheeled me into recovery and the nurse couldn't understand why I was fully awake.
I showed her my Popeye forearm where all the meds settled and she couldn't believe it.
Everyone came to observe my arm so they were all fully aware of the accident.
Do you believe that the next day I didn't receive one phone call asking me how I was doing!!!
Stay away from this very unprofessional, second rate office for any procedure.

This doctor flirts with women patients while the husband is there. He's not professional and ignores you for a follow-up appointment, and I recommend finding a more experienced gastrologist to address your problems. Please don't settle.

Honestly I just cancelled my appointment from the bad reviews! They definitely made me feel uncomfortable… thankfully I found another gastro in the area with fantastic reviews.

I just went to my 1st appointment with
Dr. Vangara and he and his staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. He also cares to hear your problems your having and comments on all your questions and concerns. I was even having a problem with another issue I'm having and he also checked it out and told me who I needed to go see for this. Don't always believe the comments you read on reviews. Because you would be missing out on seeing a true Dr. that cares about your health and that's Dr. Vangara for a fact.

Dr Vangara is so down to Earth and a truly kind soul, this is a rarity in the medical industry in this day and age. He addressed all of my issues and was truly concerned with my medical care! The staff were also very nice, thank you all for a great first impression!

Dr. Vangara is so compassionate and caring! Prepare to wait for your appointment, as he gives his patients all the time the need and will do the same for you!
His surgery facility is so organized and all of the staff is super. Makes a not so nice procedure a breeze!

The Doctor did a good job however called back to setup a follow and request my records to be sent to my primary , the person who answered was nasty didn’t sound like wanted to be there. Let me tell you what a horrible customer experience, told me with a nasty tone of voice that info already sent , when I didn’t recognize the doctor name she mentioned gave her the name of my doctors office , told me it was the same office for the doctor she mentioned but so nasty that made me feel as I was asking for free service. I had my kid in the car at the time once I hung up she agreed that this person was just super rude. Never again !
