Cozy general store! I enjoyed the visit here. I was travelling from San Diego to Lake Tahoe and stopped by at this general store for restroom time and grabbed pizza and drink before continuing my journey to lake tahoe! Friendly people!

Have been to shell gasoline station their claim is there cheaper than mammoth mountain prices. The market is fully stocked with a small rack of hardware items. Large beverage cooler with wine, beer, organic, energy drinks and variety of pre made sandwiches and homemade breads as well as soft drinks . The deli has great pizza had a large took it home. The sandwiches, breads and pizza are made fresh with the oven on site. Customer service has been really good. Parking is adequate . The access to the general store off 395 is good. Favorite place for lunch.

Just an awesome store and place to stop. Peaceful, quiet, very good pizza, cheese jalapeño loaf bread, lemon bars and menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. Good selection of drinks, water, beer, wine, fishing tackle, some hats, tee shirts and souvenir items. Tables and chairs outside to eat and take a break before filling up with gas and hitting the road again. Started stopping here 35 years ago, always look forward to stopping here whenever I’m on 395.

July 2021 - Good pizza by the slice.

Oct 2021 update. Ordered a turkey sandwich. No one ahead of me or behind. "it will be 10 min"... OK? 10 min later the ticket still on the rail and no one working it. Updating my review to 3 stars. The kitchen staff moving at their own pace.8th 5

A safe and scenic pitstop for travelers. Gas, good, stretch break, propane, and friendly neighbor vibe.

All shoppers, get the fresh sourdough bread! Soft on the outside, tender on the inside. The bread remained soft for three days. We used the bread for garlic bread, grilled cheese, and olive oil dipping. The taste is inviting and did not have a strong sourdough flavor like pre-packaged sourdough. I appreciated this bread 🍞 was easy to chew and swallow with ease.

First time staying at the nearby Rv park. This store has just about everything you need for fishing, rv’ing, bbq. Well stocked and clean. One of the best part of this place is the deli/pizza parlor. Great ready made sandwiches or made to order. Desserts and salads are there also. The pasta salad was very good. The pizza is great and made to order. Everything is made fresh daily and it shows. They also have shell gas and propane also. The staff is very helpful and friendly. This place is less than a mile off 395 and is worth taking the off ramp to stopping by.
