I am looking for German cookies,Lebkuchen. Trader Joe's is sold out. They don't have them here either but have other similar cookies.
Clean nice place.
Will come again close to Russian store, Samovar.

My husband stopped by the store yesterday for first time. He bought a farmers cheese. Package was sealed and had expiration date 04/05/23. Today is March 21st. We opened packages and saw the mold! Pictures attached. How it is possible that sealed product which will be expired only in 2 weeks has mold? I would not recommend to shop there.

This grocery store has many foods that are not available in regular shops like Trader Joe, Safeway and others. For example they have caviar, herring fish, etc. There is a great assortment of foods that Russians love: tea, smoked salmon, butter, pasta, chese, vine and many more. Cashiers are polite and friendly (they don't speak Russian language).

Grandma asked about Swedish Potato Sausage, which we found at Dittmer's. For Swedish Meatball Sauce, a lady with a good accent recommended a place up the road. She couldn't remember the name but look for the Russian flag.

"They might not be flying the Russian flag these days," I reckoned.

Indeed, there was a Ukrainian flag. I picked up some Ukrainian beer and wine on principle. The beer tastes like kvass.

Very often we buy buckwheat there and condensed milk. Everything is good, a lot of products from Ukraine, Russia and closest countries to them. Thank you!
