Costco has been making decisions for years that waste customer's time, now they make customers wait outside to be scanned so they can enter. Why, you scan us at checkout? No one in the store or online seems to know why. Customer support doesn't know and the poor staff in the store obviously don't like hearing about it again. I'd give them a 1 star for customer courtesy but they still sell good stuff at reasonable prices, just stop with the corporate induced delays to customers, it's just not nice.

Huge store carries many items. I go for the food. Great place if you have storage space.
Best place for artichoke jalapeno dip, cherry pie, coffee, Late July chips, hearing aid batteries, vitamins and supplements, avocados, and sparkling water. Many other bulk items are good bargains.

The management here tells you lies to get you to upgrade your costco membership. We went in yesterday to sign up for a gold star membership. The first woman who helped us was incredibly aggressive in pushing us to upgrade to executive membership, without telling us any of the benefits. When I put my foot down after 4 repeated attempts, she asked “what is your reasoning to not upgrade?”, which to I responded, “it’s my prerogative.” That apparently made her uncomfortable so we then were helped by her manager. Her manager then FLAT OUT LIED to us when we asked about auto insurance, saying that we need to be on executive membership to get it. Luckily I was skeptical of her and with a quick google search I determined she was fully lying. Also Costco doesn’t even offer auto insurance for customers in CA ?

Just for their malpractice, Im considering cancelling my membership. If you’re thinking about signing up, do your own research and be skeptical of these shoddy sales people 😉

Ok so I did give 1 star very quickly after having a rather poor experience at customer service. An employee was very rude and not very nice . I will say Stephen in optical made my whole experience turn around with exceptional customer service. He really went over and beyond . I'm hoping there are more people like Stephen in this costco and less of the other person working at the coustmer service desk.

This Costco is well staffed and well stocked. The lines move fast, and the self check-out (when not buying alcohol) rarely has a line at all.

Don't come here with kids. They put all of the baby items directly next to the back storage area where the forklifts and heavy machinery enter and exit. I've asked them to move these items on three occasions, but the store manager Katrina refuses to provide a safe space for infants and children.
