I wish more people took advantage of this great commissary. It was not crowded at all. Well, I have to be honest, I have been married to an honorably discharged service connected veteran for almost 30 years & I just got an ID card this year & we have not been taking advantage of all of the benefits that are offered. This is a great location. They offer so many great items at really good prices. I am not sure if the people who bag & take your groceries to the car are paid by the commissary, but they do take tips. They are very nice & helpful. The cashier even pointed out coupons that are offered throughout the store for us to use for additional savings. These people are the best.

It is very much on the smaller size of the spectrum when it comes to commissaries. But the base it serves is also small. it has the basics of everything you would need. And they have baggers there that will bag for you and take your groceries to your car.

If you're looking for a larger shopping center, you would need to go to one of the other military bases in the region.

Staff is very nice and friendly and helpful.

MCLB has the gem of the military commissary system!
I have been shopping here for years and I am always impressed by such a great selection packed into a smallish space.
The prices are superior to Wally-World, a mile away, as well.
Between the great customer service, the absolute cleanliness, the more than good selection of foods, and the great prices, any Military ID holder would be foolish to shop elsewhere.

Smaller than the normal commissary, but what it lacks in size is more than made up for in the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the prices can't be beat. I cannot say enough good things about the meat department. My only complaint is that it is not closer to my home.

They are the MOST helpful, warmest, friendliest staff including baggers that we know, compared to other commissaries, grocery, and retail stores. They have everything we need and want with very affordable prices. Love the commissary brand's, keep them coming and adding more!

This is a great commissary, and a great service to the military community in this area. It is an excellent source of support for the adjoining RV park as well. The nearest similar facility is more than 30 miles away, and access is difficult. Military who live in the Barstow area appreciate this store for its services to us.

The commissary is very small, but convenient. The associates are very friendly and helpful. Always stocked and well kept. However, some products are pricey..
