People are truly nice but not the prices. They charge way too much for the food when the burgers are frozen and cooked in an oven. I get that it's their money maker but if your going to charge high prices then give us good food. Bacon bits and powered eggs in the breakfast burritos and skimping on the sandwiches. I've been going there for years and it seems they've turned more to getting money then being a convenient store.

Great food and friendly staff. I lost my wallet last week and they held on to it for me until I came in again to buy something. I had no idea I dropped it there but they returned it to me after recognizing my face from my ID. Really nice people.

I recently had a delightful experience at Carol’s Market, thanks to a Groupon that made it a great value. The quality of the food, especially the smoky bacon and thinly sliced, tender tri-tip, exceeded my expectations. I appreciate their flexibility in crafting a delicious carb-free breakfast bowl for me. While I wish the eggs weren’t precooked, considering the apparent lack of a visible kitchen, it makes sense. Despite this minor drawback, I plan on returning to Carol’s Market for its fantastic offerings and overall positive dining experience. A solid four stars.

This is a hidden spot for the best breakfast burritos, tri-tip, sandwiches, hot dogs and refreshments. If you live in the Newcastle area you know Carol's Market as one of the largest community supporters and philanthropists. This is a must visit spot.

Friendly staff, convenient location, good selection of snacks and goodies, but WAY overpriced. Especially there hot box. For example there basic ground beef and bean burrito from there hot box is $11, a low quality chicken sandwich for de-thawed chicken on a cheap bun is like $6… It would be one thing if there ingredients were home made maybe? But even then that’s still not reasonable priced.. The food from the hot box comes from smart and final as well as the meat they smoke for a discounted price for low quality food that they mark up at least 200% if not more on some items.. It’s offensive the mark up they have on some items. It’s as if they don’t care because they know that all the wealthy construction workers are going to pay it.
