I don't go to Doctors often but when I do, I expect top notch treatment considering I have top notch insurance. While the urgent care Dr here was friendly, he was unable to treat me effectively due to restrictions by Camarena. I was examined by the doctor for my pain & he put pressure exactly where the pain was coming from, which brought me from a 10 to a 14 on the pain scale & which I could not find on my own. He informed me what the injury was that I had. I was given a pain injection and prescribed 2 medicines. I felt confident up until this point that I was receiving the best treatment. About 10 minutes after receiving the shot, I knew something was wrong because I was still in a lot of pain. That's when he let me know of Camarena's restrictions and I was injected with something very similar to Advil. Also, I realized I was prescribed the same as what is available over the counter. I cannot comprehend the reason this place is here, because what do they do besides offer what is available inside any drugstore, over the counter? Just with a different name and in a different form? I could have just walked into Walgreens and talked to a pharmacist that could point me to the aisle that would do me the same. I couldn't imagine being a degreed professional and working for a company that had a policy stating in a sense that puts handcuffs on me while doing my job which will cause my customers more pain and suffering. So I'll be in pain for 3 more days until I can get an appointment with a primary doctor which hopefully is only restricted by laws, not corporate Anti-Human policies. If you are injured or have an illness and If you're trying to take care of someone you love or yourself, do not come here because, likely a corporate Camarena salaried individual who doesn't want to know your name nor sufferings, has already determined the treatment you will receive before you even show up. This is what our health"care" has turned into. 1 hour later I'm still in pain, hence the 1 star earned by your corporation.
