Awful place. Yesterday I came in urgent care and asked if they could check my baby and they first said yes but they recommended going to valley children’s instead because they don’t have the right staff for ear checks. And then they said they couldn’t check his lungs and other stuff and we weren’t even asking them to check his lungs so they were making up excuses not to check my baby. so we left and we decided to come back and tell them again within 2 mins if they could check my baby and then the front desk told me “we cannot anymore, we are short on staff now and very occupied” And she looked like she did not want to do her job at all. Or maybe it’s because of our race because she looked very happy attending the other races but when it came to my family she had a look on her face. AWHFUL SERVICE, RACISM, AND ATTITUDE.

I took my 22 month old into there urgent care because he is sick and I was refused service! Front desk stated doctors were not taking patients anymore. Office hours are Mon-Fri until 9pm it was not even 7 pm when I went in. Front office said I could take him to valley Childrens after I had previously called to see if he could be seen there and was told YES to bring him in. I mentioned that to the front office personnel she said we don’t get the calls and the people who do don’t bother to call us to check!!

For Camarena being basically the only health services available after hours in Madera, CA and refusing care to the Madera people is crazy!!

Everytime I go, it is always a new dr and they cycle through them so much you don't really get a chance to connect with one. With that being said, they have tons of drs almost every specialty and there is always one available to see. Almost every dr I have seen there has been great, everyone has their own experiences. This last time around though, the medical assistant was fantastic, Dr Ramesh was fantastic. As much as I wish it was a smaller run drs office, they do a good job.
