This review is for the meat section at Bristol Farms Westchester. I encountered an older African American gentleman working behind the meat counter on a Saturday at 7:30 pm. He barely made eye contact with me, was mumbling under his breath, and did not offer to cut a sirloin for me despite me explaining that I was using it for a stew and needed it in pieces. He packaged the small amount of precut stew meat that was left on display and then tossed the whole sirloin in, uncut, with those pieces. His body language and facial expressions made it clear that he just wanted me to leave him alone, so I didn’t push the matter by again asking him to cut the sirloin. I realize that everyone has good days and bad, but this was pretty disappointing behavior for such an expensive store like Bristol Farms. My grandfather was a butcher and grocer and took great pride in being knowledgeable about all the cuts of meat on offer while helping his customers in any way he could. I have been assisted by other meat cutters during the day at this same Bristol Farms location, and they were so congenial and knowledgeable. It would be great if Bristol Farms could employ more meat cutters like them—who have passion for their products and who want to actually engage with their customers.

Great specialty selections. BUT, if you enjoy knowing the price of things before you buy them, this is not the place for you. They're great at not putting prices on many things in their fresh foods fridge. No clue why. I ask every time I'm there..

Bristol Farms is a great grocery store with great quality, I personally feel like this store in particular excels in providing that type of service. I always see high quality fruits and vegetables, and it is always a clean environment. I shop here regularly so I can stand on that statement. Also the food bar, juice bar, deli section, etc are always of high quality as well. Great for organic and plant-based shoppers!

Bristol Farms has become my go to spot every week. The food quality, especially the fresh fruits and vegetables, is fantastic, and the checkout staff are always friendly and helpful, making the store feel warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, my experience at the café hasn’t been as positive. Each visit, the café staff have seemed uninterested and dismissive when asked for recommendations, making the interaction feel uninviting. I would love to see the café service match the high standards set by the rest of the store.
