This is my local grocery store. Great produce. Super clean. Pretty decent prices. Absolutely love the staff, helpful and polite. Only complaint is that every time I've asked the meat department for a cut of meat sliced a specific way, they have never done it. Always try to get me to buy something else.

I had ordered a cake here for my coworkers going away party and had a set time to pick it up at 7am. I arrived to pick up my cake and was told the designer was not in and it should be ready about 730am. I went in at that time and the designer was still not there. The guy in the bakery (forgot his name) but he was super apologetic and let me know that there was some miscommunication as to when the designer would actually be in. He refunded me half of what I paid for the cake, and continued to apologize. Even though I was late to work, they did a great job on the cake and this gentleman's customer service made up for the miscommunication. This store is by far still the best and I will continue to come here.

Expired food on the shelf. Checking out, their machine declined my debit card. I just used it 30 minutes prior at another store with no problem and I have overdraft (if I need it) but I don't, because there's money in the account. I checked when I got home.

Yesterday I went to Bel Air, as I was given a 40 dollar gift card. I purchased 26 dollars of items, and was checking out. And was told my gift card was not valid, I had called before I went to verify the balance on the card was 40 dollars. The employee Samir was extremely rude, insisting that my gift card didn’t work. He was typing the number very quickly, and mistyped it, after I asked him if he had typed it correctly (there were 8 zeros in a row, hard to count) he insisted there were 7. Come to find out when I got to my car I called again and the card indeed had 40 dollars on it. The employee was extremely rude, and did not seem to care, I ended up paying with debit, and I will not be returning.

I’ve been shopping at Bel Air for years and I’ve noticed a rapid decline of their cashiers being rude and always seem they’re in a bad mood. Most of the times they won’t even acknowledge you standing in front of them, only when they had you your receipt ! You can really see the difference of the nice and joyful demeanor from the employees at the Nugget and Whole Foods. And not to mention those Markets quality of food and produce is 100 times better than Bel Air !

Good bye Bel Air, you just lost a customer and I’m sure many customers have already moved on.

I go here probably every day. All the employees are super nice, helpful, patient, and friendly. It’s a little more expensive than SaveMart. But I live within a stones throw from here and convenience>saving a few bucks. Plus If I need gas I use my points for $$ off. Always good meat and produce here too. It’s my second home basically.
